Backup camera not working

My 19 and 21 both have intermitent camara issues same as above control panel lower black screen upper. Seems like a software issue.
It seemed to me the back up camera stopped working with changes in seasonal temperatures however the June wipe out occurred after driving for over 3 hours.

I have a 2020 Laramie 2500 with the 12" screen. 2900 miles on the truck and my backup camera stopped working. When I put it in reverse the control panel comes up with the backup camera icon in red and I can't change it. Disconnecting 2 batteries doesn't really seem like a feasible fix.

My laramie is almost 5 weeks old and suddenly today it stopped working!! All I see is black screen but after 2 hours later it worked again but after another couple hrs later it did not work again! This is annoying... now I need to drive 1 hour to visit dealership for fixing the problem..
What happened at the dealer? Did they get it fixed?

2021 1500 only a month old and my camera just stopped working today. Fine yesterday and today just a black screen on top with the seat and mirror dimming controls on bottom half.

I guess I'm part of the non working back up camera club now. 2021 laramie, 500 miles.
Is there a place to go hide when you are driving a new $60 000 truck with known issue from manufacturer and nothing has been done to fix it. What's next truck wont start?

Same boat here with new Rebel under 400 miles. Hopefully there is a fix since it’s my wife’s car and I’m already sick of hearing about it after 30 minutes in the car with her.

Wow today I just joined the club of non working camera.... 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie 12" uconnect, Only 750miles (Still have Paper Plates lol) and camera not working.... Its crazy how all these 2021's less than 1000 miles and we are having these issues... Gonna wait a few days see if it fixes itself before I have to deal with dealer..

Well 24hrs later got in truck, put in reverse and camera worked... idk whats going on, hope problem is fixed... we will see...

TODAY I JOINED THIS CLUB ALSO. 2020 RAM 10k MILES BLACK SCREEN WHEN PUTTING INTO REVERSE OR SELECTING CAMERA ICON. 12 INCH SCREEN.

Ok this is what i really did. I opened the tailgate remotely and slammed it closed and it actually worked. I did a Google search and people swore it worked so i figured “what’s to lose?” Not the greatest confidence booster but at least it’s working now. Give it a shot, it worked form me.

Scary repair! Mopar approved? Maybe Mopar should put out a TSB!

Not sure this is a permenant fix but at least I can localize the issue to the tailgate section of the wiring. Anything to eliminate the need to take it to the dealer. At least until I can't figure out a permanent fix.

Any of you guys who recently started having this problem this week happen to live in the north east? Maybe the snowstorm could have played a part in breaking our cameras?

All my cameras were giving me the blue screen. What worked for me is disconnecting the battery and connecting again 10 min later. Scary thing is once you do that the surround camera menu is not available but eventually comes back. It's been working fine since then..
