And what aftermarket exhaust do you have?
Seriously? This is hard to believe that an aggressive exhaust has no drone.Borla Atak. 0 drone 3.92 RWD
How much worse does this sound with an exhaust? I hate MDS!
I would agree with the gearing here. I have the 3.21, although i do not have an aftermarket exhaust, I do feel the throttle pedal vibrations right at 1,700 RPM’s. It’s more prominent with MDS, but doesn’t matter either way.I think an important question to ask is what gears does the truck have also. My old 14 5.7 had the 3.21. I tried a lot of different exhausts. It came down to on the highway the rpm was around 1700 and that is the drone sweet spot, with Mds on/off didn't matter. I now have the 3.92 and highway rpms are higher hence the no or much less drone.
It's very noticeable at lower speeds. Doesn't matter who you are, when it kicks in at low RPM's it's god awful. Cruising at highway speeds you can't really tell but that's subjective - for some it may be a different story. Personally I just use the gear limiter to disengage MDS from ever coming on.How much worse does this sound with an exhaust? I hate MDS!
I have to agree 3.92's in mine as well, very aggressive when u want it to be but zero drone!Seriously? This is hard to believe that an aggressive exhaust has no drone.
I've been considering the b2fab for when I get around to it but just came across the paradox. What would you compare it to and how are you liking it or would you do more if you haven't already? No drone at all, Paradox Elite muffler, resonators still on.
Did you go from stock to this? How is it cruising from 1500-1800 rpm on the highway? No drone at all, Paradox Elite muffler, resonators still on.
