So I pulled the trigger on them. 2” Mopar lift with additional 1/2” Motofab spacers up front. Installed the Hellwig rear sway bar while I was at it. Absolutely love the look and ride of the truck, more than when I first got it. Feels how I think a “luxury” truck should ride.

How much difference does the Hellwig make? My RAM seems to handle well. Certainly never thought, 'i need to beef up my factory sway bar'. Thanks!

Absolute world of difference. I set it on the stiffest setting. If you think the truck handles well now, wait til you install that bar. I always felt like there was too much body roll and this made it perfect.

It is truly surprising how much difference a little bar size change makes in handling.

Just saw this. Dont like the "skinny tire" look on the stock 285 45/22's. Do you definitely need the 2" lift kit to fir the 55's? How much did that run you or did you do it yourself? I'll have the dealer do mine... also, do have a part or model number of the Sway Bar you insyalled? Easy enough to DIY?

There’s guys running this tire size without a lift, but I’m sure they rub on tight turns. Mine do, even with 2.5” lift up front. I think the kit and tires cost me like $1600 together (I used my Mopar Employee Discount). Hellwig swaybar 7709, super easy install. I did all the work myself.

Hey Guys, I'm new year although been driving Rams for years. I'm currently driving a 20 w/ 22" Stock Rims/Tires. Could I run this same setup with a leveling kit at a minimum no spacers?
Thanks!

I just put on 285/55/22's. 2021 Limited with air suspension. Running in Aero and Normal mode have rubbing at the extremes. only when turning right for some reason and mostly in Reverse. I have the Daystar spacers for the front, UCA's and Revel leveling links, but have not had them installed yet as my local dealers won't do it.

Truck is dirty
Just got home from work
There is no lift or leveling kitty
My first time here. You have the look I’m going for with a bigger profile. I’m curious how these tires are working for you.

What’s your axle ratio?
I saw you removed the mud guards. For look or for rub?
Did you do any other height modifications?
Any rub at different air lift heights?
Did your mpg change?
I prefer smooth quiet, How is the feel and road noise at different speeds?
How’s the wear on the tires?

I do appreciate the help!!

Can you share some pics? This is the direction I may like to go in.

I have 285/45/22 falken at3w's on now. Would like to upsize to 285/55/22 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's or Toyo at3. Any thoughts on ride comfort between the two? How much will the ride suffer compared to these which are p rated vs the LT's? Thought having more sidewall might counteract the stiffer tire?

I have a 2021 Laramie 4x4 Night Edition with 3.92. I bought it leveled already ( not sure if it's 2" or 2.5") and came with 285/55/22's. I'm still trying to get used to the ride height and stiff ride. When it's time to change, I may get rid of the level and get 285/45/22 tires that are better than stock.

Trying to decide what tires to run. Seems like most have 35x12.5R22 but I want to see if 285/55R22 is a size worth considering. I’m going to be running a Mopar 2” lift, so bonus points to those who have that combo.
I'm running that size tire; Toyo at3. Love em so far and it's about 8 or 9 months. Did have to trim the wheel well liners slightly, but zero rubbing after that. No lift/level either.

Are you running spacers?

I've been back and forth on which tire brand and researching for weeks. I finally saw that Mickey Thompson updated their sizes and came out with the 285/55r22 Baja Boss AT in an E rating. I bit the bullet and ordered them today. It was between them and the Nitto Ridge Grapplers but I have had issues with wet traction in the past with them. Can't wait to get them on along with the 3.5 RL lift I already have waiting to get installed.
