Anybody running 285/55R22?

I have a 2021 Laramie 4x4 Night Edition with 3.92. I bought it leveled already ( not sure if it's 2" or 2.5") and came with 285/55/22's. I'm still trying to get used to the ride height and stiff ride. When it's time to change, I may get rid of the level and get 285/45/22 tires that are better than stock.
Any rubbing on this set up?

So do the 285/55/r22 rub on the 2021 ram 1500? Wanting to get a bit more tire then my 285/45/r22

No lift/level yet, 5100's on order.

Rubbing near full lock, but I think once I bend some plastic it will be fine. Still going to level once the Bilsteins come in.

Scrolling through this old thread and absolutely love the look of these. I lowered the rear 2" and I think these would fill the wheel wells perfect.
Here’s a pic of mine with 0/2 drop (reverse level) and 285/50/22.

What are your thoughts on this set up after putting on some miles? Did you end up taking off the level and going to stock size? I'm still debating doing this to my limited when it comes in but a little concerned about stiffening up the ride too much, etc.

Will be running this exact size in a couple of days. Scored a set of Wildpeak RT01's for a good price from my NEX Auto Care Center. Lucky i got my center caps in yesterday, will be sporting these guys in a couple of days!

As I mentioned...Falken Wildpeak RT01 285/55R22 on VOXX OEM replica 22" snowflakes in gloss black.
My first set of black wheels, need some getting used to. But overall, a very different ride with the beefier tire, in a positive way.
Only put a few miles on since installed, prolly take it for a ride around the island. 20230620_151725.jpg20230620_151807.jpg20230620_151751.jpg
Rubs the inside of the mud flap at 3/4 lock. Left the 3/8 Bora spacers on and they sit with just a tad bit of poke out the well. Gotta trim, but it is what it is. Am loving the look of the tire and the size change20230620_145525.jpg20230620_145725.jpgTruck needs a wash, badly. Got new shoes, no better reason than to wash it. But its like 150 degrees on my driveway right now. I think I'll wait a couple of hours to cool off.

Will the Ridge grappler 285/55 r22 work with air suspension and no lift kit?
Same question over here. '23 ram Laramie night edition with air ride self leveling from factory. Looking at 285/55/22 or 295/55/22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I just don't want to rub at entry/exit mode, and I'm willing to heat gun some small plastics if that's all it takes.

I am having some 285/55/R22 Nitto Recon Grapplers installed tomorrow. I saw another person in the forum say they did it with no mods and no rubbing on stock wheels. I also have the revel performance daystar leveling kit coming with the sensor links if needed. I did the 2” reverse level with rebel links on my 2020 Laramie with air and it was great. But curious on my limited how these tires run and if they rub. I don’t mind hear gunning a bit if needed. Or even slight trimming. I’m in AZ so weather is just dry and hot most of the time.

I did end up getting the 285/55/22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and they would be absolutely perfect if I didn't put fender flares and some mudflaps on. (I'm overkilling it but I also drive on construction sites all day with shotrock and lose gravel, for work). Even with those adding about ~3/4" I'm only barely rubbing on the mudflap of my left front wheel in normal. Only on near locked left turns. I'm planning on heat gunning the plastic a bit to push it back as my right front wheel has no problems. Now in entry exit level, I may have more rubbing that I need to evaluate but I also rarely drop down that low. So I may just tweak enough for normal and aero modes to not have rubbing. Week two with them so when I have more time I'll jump further into fixing this.

I had them installed and here are some photos. I had the exact same spot barely touching the flimsy plastic wheel liner when full lock to the left and braking at the same time. It’s so flimsy that I chose to place a tiny hole at the edge and zip ties it back. It worked perfectly. Zero rub etc. Now I need to decide do I level it with my Revel kit or not. First photo is on OR3 and the others are in normal mode. As far as sound, the tires are surely louder than the pirelli scorpion Verde all seasons that came stock but they are quieter than my Toyo AT3’s that I had on my last truck which was expected as those were mud terrain and these are hybrid all terrain. Anyway very pleased with these tires (except the cost of course lol) and they look great in the wheel well

Installed 285/55r22 Ridge Grapplers on my 2019 Limited. Also, put on the RAM Airlinks to give the truck an extra inch in normal mode. Didn’t want to have a huge lift but wanted something a little better. No rubbing except for full reverse in hard turn. I’m sure I can solve that just haven’t looked at it in depth yet.
