The Android Auto connection in my 2025 Ram 1500 stopped working for some reason. The "phone" tab is there and phone calls work fine over Bluetooth but I can't use Google maps anymore. It worked fine until 2 days ago. Any idea what might cause this?

Try deleting the phone from the truck, and the truck from your phone and reconnecting.

Or could try restarting your phone first, if you haven't done that in a while.

I bought my 2025 Ram 1500 a week ago and experiencing similar issues. The difference is Android Auto AND Bluetooth are inconsistent. Every 8-10 seconds, it's connecting or losing connection. I've tried everything from unpairing and restarting both my phone and the truck. Frustrating.

Ensure android auto has the most up to date version from Google

when in the truck we just keep it plugged in, works great that way.

You could try a reset. Just pushing hold the two big buttons on the left and right of the display for 30 seconds

AA did an update last week, week before.... anyway, there was a pop up that said it would no longer work without it. delete it from your phone and reinstall IMO

i had same issue and fixed it by resetting android auto in uconnect. simultaneously press and hold the volume and tuner buttons until screen goes black and release after you see the ram logo appear.
