Android Auto issue

I am experiencing a similar issue. Sometimes my android auto works right. Sometimes it thinks I'm in Tokyo. I live in Virginia. Sometimes driving and the AA starts out working right it will start jumping locations and start trying to continuously redirect me, telling me to make a uturn and go the other way or to turn on roads I shouldn't turn, etc. When I am out of the truck my phone is good. As soon as I get in and pair to the truck it gonna think I'm in Tokyo again. I bought the truck in April 2023 and everything worked fine until somewhere around November 2025. Initially I thought my phone might be the problem so I traded my Google pixel 7 pro in for a pixel 10 pro XL. But the issue persists.

Hi, I'm having Android auto connection issues with my 2022 Ram 1500. I've tried soft resets and resetting the Bluetooth connections but it is still inconsistent. I just deleted my AA app and will reinstall to see if that helps. Is there anything else aside from a hard reset that you recommend?

Having the same issue with mine

Having the same issue, bought my RAM 2500 new last week...android auto was fine until today. It doesn't even show up on the bottom of the screen like it used to. I have unpaired, re-paired, deleted, added multiple times...nothing works. The android auto icon shows up when the apps are displayed...but nothing happens when you touch it?

now the android auto will not work
I've noticed this and have had to unlock my phone for AA to pop up. Try unlocking your phone and allowing it access if it asks.

Hello. I am the happy owner of a 26 Rebel. I've had it a little over 2 weeks now. I initially had issues getting the phone paired. I am pretty good with tech and it took a few tries to get the pairing to go through. Initially, it kept giving me only phone bluetooth pairing and would not allow any Android Auto connection. The manager showed the AA icon, but nothing would happen when I hit it. As I said above, I eventually got it to work properly with a few tries.

Since then, maybe about 20% of the time, I'll get only the phone option and the system will not allow AA connection. Similar to the initial setup problems that I had, the AA icon is in the manager screen, but is unresponsive. When this happens, I get the big pop-up connection error window repeatedly. Luckily, when I turn the truck off and it usually reconnects just fine.
