An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

I find it entertaining the 3.92 guys are amusing and make this the best thread on this site. The 3.21 and 3.92 have the same payload. I don’t care either way if I need to tow more I would get a real truck a 3500. But for now I will keep laughing at the post

Jack got 295 likes for one post. That has to be a record. Little did he know that one year later his post would become irrelevant with the release of the TRX. 3.55 gears + 6.2L Hellcat = way better acceleration, horrendous MPG's, and who cares about towing...it has 702 HP. 😆
Yes, such a waste in a pickup. Should have put that in a 300 to crush the supercharged Caddy.

Nope, they go for the bottom of the barrel.

I not here to judge.

They find their mates on some sort of “lots”.
They are not, or “less“ willing mates also.

Let’s keep it real. They are hookers. I think thats why they are always complaining about mileage…. can’t afford gas. The price of beaver has gone up apparently, they all complain about inflation.

Some weird stuff too…. fu***** in the rain on rocks or hills.

You think you know someone… 😳

You are all over the place with your comments. Trying to spin my posts, but failing miserably. I said the 3.21 guys settle for what's on the lots.

You said you like it dry, which is just weird. I'm sure that's more receiving than giving. Which makes it even worse. You can try and spin your way out of that, but there's no recovering,.mainly because 3.21 guys don't have the power to recover anyone, even when it's dry.

And a soda while we wait for the 3.21 guys to catch up because they didn't have enough oomph to make it up the last hill at speed
well, 3.21 real men drink beer and whiskey. enjoy your soda.

You're drinking and driving? Probably getting drunk because your girly gears are embarrassing you. 😆
Nah. 3.21 real men can make their women drive for them when they’re drinking. We are manly men and the wives know that they must do what we say.

3.92 boys are kinda weak. So their wives make them do dishes, and buy tampons for them.

😆

At least the 3.92 guys are buying the tampons for thier wives and not themselves! 😲

3.21 guys let the wives drive because they know it's a womans truck.

Copied and pasted from another post on a related thread:

I got this from another older thread on this forum. Basically the results of MotorTrend's pickup of the year for 2019 where they had 2 Ram 1500 hemi's with e-torque. One was a Rebel which comes with the 3.92's and a Longhorn with 3.21's. Seems the Longhorn with the 3.21 rear was quicker 0-60 and also quicker in the 1/4 mile. The Rebel with the 3.92 rear was only slightly quicker when pulling a 7500lb load. And by slightly quicker when towing, I mean barely a noticeable difference in the 1/4 mile while pulling 7500lbs. 3.21 also had better gas mileage. Based on these numbers, I'll take the 3.21 rear for the win. (y)
