Brand new to the forum not sure if I’m posting this in the correct place.?.? This might have been answered but I couldn’t find a clear answer unless I was looking in the wrong place 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a 2019 1500 5th gen limited off-road with factory air suspension that I want to delete/convert while also lifting

My primary question is compared to factory coil suspension Do the front struts bags have the same “bolt pattern” as the coil over/strut like will a factory style coil over/ strut bolt right in place of the air strut on the front and will the rear coil mount in the rear bag location with little to no modification?

At the moment the warning messages and so on are not a concern. Thank you
 
The rear coil needs the factory rubber isolation pad. Others wise all bolts up as normal. You will have to delete the air suspension in the body control module also, or you wil have warnings coming up.

Ok thank you that’s what I wanted to know. Do you know if an higher end scan tool or any programmer or for the 5th gen can delete it?

Does it have to be the factory rear upper coil spring isolator’s or will universal ones work or do you know of any aftermarket options?

so since the real axle is the same on the DT as Jeep JT, i believe Jeep JT spring isolators will work.

I arrived at this conclusion because I am currently running Jeep JT springs from Clayton Offroad and the springs fit with no issues.

Ok thank you very much that’s good to know especially since it can be difficult to find definitive answers for our 5th gen DT
 
Just wanted to post an update I swapped the air suspension on my 2019 Limited off road w/rambox to the Eibach PRO stage 2R kit with the factory Ram rear upper coil spring insulators pretty straight forward swap definitely want a tool for the front ball joint I used a pitman arm puller worked like a charm removing the rear fender liners is. “PITA” 😂 this set up pretty much leveled the truck to the old “off road” setting IMO

Also just incase you’re wondering it’s 20x10 -18 Fuel wheels and 285/55r20 Mickey Thompson Baja legend EXP looking at going to slightly bigger tires

Bump to a 285/65, unless you want a full 35x12.5.
