Okkkkkkkkkkkkk, because I didn't find all the info i needed to do this I'm sharing my experience as I just completed this last night. Yes it works. Factory ride has been restored. Only once concern.

1.Drop the truck to aero to conserve as much nitrogen as possible and disconnect the battery. Electronic PS systems are sensitive.
2. You only need to drop the UCA BJ, sway bar at the frame, tie rod end, and all bolts attached to the strut. With these removed the strut easily comes out. The air line will leak when you remove it. Don't use a pickle fork. The tie rod fell out on mine and the UCA popped out with a few 3lb hammer blows to the spindle.
3. I Trimmed 1/4" off my strut studs. I believe this is needed to make sure the strut extensions sit flush and don't impact the strut hoop causing noise.
4. As far as the UCA. With the strut removed i reinstalled the UCA to the spindle and the UCA is going to smash the air ride sensor and the air strut before it binds at the BJ. The MOPAR UCA is not needed. However, know that if you go full extension you are probably going to damage that sensor depending on how great the impact. This could potentially be solved with a relocation bracket for the sensor or maybe limiting straps.

Alignment in a few days. Will update after.

Thanks for sharing the process! What is the daystar spacer model number you used?

Could you elaborate on the stud trim? I’m fairly sure the shop that installed the UCA and day stars didn’t do that

Trimmed the top of the strut studs before installing the extenders. I don’t think they would sit flush to the strut top if I didn’t do this.

All is well, its like factory ride only 2" taller. However I have noticed on hard articulation impacts such as pulling into or out of a raised/lowered drive at anything more than 10 mph there is a clunk coming form the front left. I was getting this before the spacer though but ONLY when the truck was lifted more than 1" from stock. I believe this may be a sway bar angle issue. Will report back.

I have the Daystar shims in front and the Revel links on my Limited with air suspension. I put on Fuel 20x9 +1 wheels and 33” ridge grapplers.

i couldnt be happier. Somehow the truck drives better. Maybe a tiny bit stiffer but still a really nice ride. These tires are only slightly louder than stock. The truck handles better in turns.

Thanks to all the previous forum members that did the heavy lifting on this.

Wow!thanks fro the info!i went to amazon but it says for the earlier models...but if it worked for you its all i need to know! (y) (y)

Daystar and Revel links here too. Love them. It pulled a little after install but after the alignment, it’s all good. I didn’t cut my studs and I don’t have any issues. Rides like stock. I also have the Hellwig swaybar in the rear so handling is much better. I’m running Fuel Rebel wheels in 22x10.

I ordered the daystar kit today finally too. Already have the revel links and my rims have been ordered as well. I’m excited to get my baby leveled and some new shoes for her 1st birthday.

Me too!! Any further investigation? Solution...

I think its actually the upper control arm impacting the air strut now. Researching aftermarket UCA's and installing the ball fitting into one.

Do you have the MOPAR UCAs? I am looking into the possibility of moving forward with the DayStars and links, but want to make sure I do it right the first time. Considering the level portion is a max of $250 before install I would rather spend the little extra and ensure I don't have any issues with damaging parts.

The factory arms on the air ride will impact the air strut before the ball joint will bind. Thats why im looking at an aftermarket alternative. The Mopar UCA will not solve this.
