Think about it. The truck was put together and engineered by professionals. FCA has a built in liabilty for what they designed and manufactured. The end user who is probably not a pro, probably installs his own wiring harness, install all the factory handles and then if something goes wrong, FCA is on the hook. A lot of these guys are only doing 1 handle, definetly not the tailgate wiring and antenna. That is why I think FCA is afraid too just let an end user do this. But it is also your truck and you can do what you want. FCA, just probably is too afraid to endorse what you have done. That is why I still believe a Mopar kit needs to be made. We can argue that FCA screwed everyone who paid for a level 2 option. But we are stuck with what we have, until something changes.
