Adding OEM Front Camera?

Does anyone with access to wire diagrams have a way to see where the aux 1 and aux 2 camera wires terminate? The pins mentioned in this thread are populated at the radio module, but I’d like to find out where the other end is if someone is able to tell me

I have a 19 Laramie that came with the 12" 4c NAV from factory. I had the dealer install a 2023 BCM(68584071AG) for all the mods I wanted to do. Finally after going through some struggles I was able to get the Aux switches working and installed UC5 with the Aux switch menu populated. Thanks to @Jimmy07

Now i have run into issues with getting the aux camera inputs to show up. I have the Vehicle Config1: CHMSL camera --> NO and Vehicle Config8: Auxiliary Trailer Camera --> YES set in Alphaobd.
I did verify these setting are present and let the truck sit for week now but this Aux camera 1 & 2 softkeys never show up. I'm wondering if its something missing in my BCM configs since the dealer might have put all 19 options into the 23 BCM and I'm missing something that the UC5 looks for. I also have Tazer DT installed and done several Full Reboot

@cskindt , @fusion213 , @golfishard , @TheLegend If any of you could send me your BCM config backup file from Alphaobd I would greatly appreciate it and it will allow me to compare the differences to see if I can get this working in my truck.

Ok guys - since currently there are no solutions for adding/integrating a front camera on the 25 MY, I bought an elchipo WiFi camera from Amazon with a 5 inch monitor.

My plan:
Mount the camera using the front camera blank on the front grill.
I don't want to run wires for the camera inside the cab. too much PIA - did it on my last RAM.

Which fuse in the under-the-hood fuse box is keyed -- Hot only when the ignition is on?
Otherwise the camera is always on and drain the battery overtime

That’s the settings I used in my 22 and the soft keys showed up, now I just want to know how far the wiring that’s already there actually goes

Update: so setting the Vehicle config1: Model Year to 2023 makes the aux 1 and 2 camera show up but i loose the backup camera lines every key cycle since my truck is a 19. Do i need to replace some module from a 23 truck?

[mention]Jimmy07 [/mention] or anyone else know a workaround for this? I just need one of the analog camera inputs if its even possible to get it without loosing the backup camera lines and other settings every key cycle….

In case anyone is interested. Fuse F62 (cargo cam) in the underhood fuse box is keyed.

Gave up on the install. Looking in to solar camera solutions.

BTW - Just a rant from me,
I have paid s.....t load of money for my 2019 and 2025 RAMS.
Even the cheapest brands put "cheap" 360 cameras on most of their truck/SUV models.
When I took my truck to the dealer for UConnect issues, while I was waiting I looked at the RAMs that were on the showroom floor. None of the limited / Long Horn Models with the ""asking"" price tag of $80K plus had the 360 cameras.
Good luck .F...kup Stelleantis for selling that crap at that price!

Chrysler needs to come back to US ownership. The idiots that own Chrysler now have no idea about what we want in the US.
Stellantis owns 10 brands that mean s...t to us in the US.

Look at the dogshit Stellatins owns today below - Except for the Chrysler brands

So I FINALLY got cargo input to work & I can confirm on my 19 Longhorn with 13" screen it is in fact pins 21/22. Also if anyone is interested I do have front ram badge that has camera but I already modified & added hd aftermarket camera as pictured

Can you remove the backing plate without taking off the entire grille?

Have to look at where to mount it since the plate holder bolts are so low on the 25 bumper

Saw this on the MOPAR site, does anyone know if its plug and play? Just picked up a 25 limited (was surprised it didn't already have one) which has a blank in the front grill for a camera.

I agree with you about the 360 cameras. I was looking at a Silverado that is priced around what I paid for my LoneStar a few months back and it has 360 camera and leather. So sad that Stellantis cheaped out on the packages on these trucks.

I unpinned 21 and 22 and my backup camera was fine, so just taped the pins and added my new ones here. Works a treat.
