I'd like a little less chrome in the grille. What's the easiest/best way to move go from the first image to the second?

Maybe plastic dip? Not sure how easily the grill comes off but if it's easy, take it off and then you can plastic dip or spray paint. Plasti dip you can remove if you wanted to go back. If the grill is a pita to remove you can try taping around it and getting some paper behind our and spraying it in place with Plasti dip. If you make a mistake or overspray, you can peel it off

The Longhorn and the Limited have an option for body-colored bumpers, a relatively modest $195. The Laramie and Bighorn have a Sport Package and a Black Appearance Package that paint the bumpers, but limit body color to red and black. The Laramie also has two-tone paint; silver on the bottom and is no extra cost. The Rebel has black bumpers and the Tradesman's base bumpers are black.

In any case, the Silverado and F-150 are worse.

It's plastic. Scuff it with a green scotchbrite pad then hit it with Krylon Fusion which is formulated for plastics.

Buy the BigHorn grill and swap it out. The Laramie grill are onlysold as an entire unit and I believe the cost is like $600.
