I hauled a full pallet of wet sod in the back of my 98 Chevy Silverado 1500 back in the day. Similarly, I didn't know better; I just needed to deliver the Sod for a job.
Truck squatted so badly, but I though it handled ok. Turns out it cracked the frame in half below the front bed mount. I thank that event for teaching me to weld.
