hi everyone,
new here just wanted to say hi to all , great site
for the most part I love my 2019 big horn, love the way it drives and handles. haven't had any of the problems that I've been reading about here.
only issue is the bumper, facia alignment. been going back and forth with FCA and 2 different dealer's they're calling it "operating as designed"
purchasing dealer had it in the body shop for a week and said they couldn't get it any better without elongating holes or redrilling the bumper.
2nd dealer just looked at it and said he couldn't do anything with it. got nowhere with FCA that marked the case resolved. called Ram customer care
explained everything to them, was told I was going to be assigned a case manager to investigate further. that was a week ago and still haven't heard from them.
original picture is what it looked like new. the rest are what it looks like after a week in the body shop. better but still not good sure hope Ram steps up and takes care of this.

Man, that's an odd one. In some of your photos, it almost looks like the grille is malformed along its bottom edge, rather than the bumper being misaligned. In other shots, it looks like the bumper itself is the culprit.

Is there any way you can put a level on some other horizontal surface of the truck, then on the bumper, then the bottom trim of the grille, etc, and compare those readings? Might not help, but then, it might give some clues as to which components are out of whack (might be multiple issues that are stacking up, each contributing a bit of the mismatch).

Good luck!

PS: I myself never had anything good come of being assigned a "case manager" at Ram Care, I hope you have better luck with that than I did.

Interesting, could it be one of the splayed frame rails is off? Otherwise maybe the bumper or bumper mount itself?

Seems like anything you would to correct one thing is going to make something else worse

Weird. You could message Kaydee. He completely tore down the front of his limited truck to paint it and put it all back together. May have a good idea on how all those parts can be adjusted/aligned

This is interesting, hotsht333. It sounds like you already have a case within our system. We can't guarantee a different outcome but would be glad to answer any questions you may have about your case. Send me a direct message if interested.

Well I just received am email stating my ram is normal and Chrysler isn't going to do anything about it, saying its within factory spec.
FCA and RAM customer support is a big joke. now i just have to decide if im going to lose my a** trading it in on a ford or just wrap it around a pole. either way after 6 new dodge trucks since 1994 i'll never buy another chrysler product

Welcome.

Man that really is terrible that they won't fix the issue. Sure it may be within specs, but come on...

Hopethe truck serves you well otherwise.
