im gonna be a junior in highschool next year and im pmanning to buy a 04 ram with a 5.7 hemi and 4x4, would a 4 inch lift and 35s be better or a 6 inch lift on 37s. ill
be taking a 2 hour road trip every other weekend ish and i want to lift it without ruining the driving. i would prefer to not level it and mpg isnt a huge thing to me

It will really come down to what you desire. Factors that will play into it is added cost of lift, added cost of tires, added cost of common wear items and upgrades like balljoints, tie rod ends... etc.
My personal preference is something a bit tamer 4 inch and 35s as most of my driving is on maintained roads with a fair amount of minor off roading. I invested more into my kit for a higher quality kit (BDS) rather than going larger on a lower quality (Rough Country).
The first truck I am assuming at your age. You will find it highly unlikely that you will get the cost out of it that you are putting into it, so keep that in mind. Good luck with the decision and best of luck with the last bit of High School!!
