4” Lift Help: BDS vs Zone

Why you scared to do it under warranty?... BDS matches factory warranty if the factory warranty won't cover something... Also lifting will only void the specific parts that are swapped so other drive train parts are still covered under factory warranty... I had a 6" lift on my 4th Gen and the dealership had to rebuild the transfer case 2 times before they finally just replaced it with a brand new one at no cost to me, all done after the lift was installed! I wouldn't be worried about factory warranty especially if paying the extra cost of a BDS lift!

Well I’m glad for the responses. I just figured since BDS doesn’t swap air bags and the lift modifies the suspensions, I didn’t know who would cover that. Thanks for the response!

Bds is a good kit. Just don’t buy it based off the warranty.
Totally agree. I have had it on an F250 and a JKU. Very quality parts but if I ever go that route again I will look very hard at Zone and save a few bucks with the same quality parts.

Wow looks great man! Actually looks higher than 4" but it will probably settle a bit. So is it perfectly level or is there still some rake? What kind of hit did your MPG's take?
It has the air ride suspension so I can raise it a few inches. Those pics are in off-road 2 height. That’s the highest it goes but it drops to off-road 1 at 20 mph. Then it drops to normal height at 50 mph.
My MPG went from 14.6 to 13.1

Who makes a 35x10x20? I’m wondering if the extra sidewall from the 35” on 22” would make for a better ride than the 33” on your 22”?

This thing rides way better than factory! And the factory ride was damn good.

Welp, no longer have to make the decision. I broke down and bought a 2500. Will be looking for lifts for it shortly.

Just from the pics I’d guess they’re a 35x12.5 tire on a 20x10 wheel, but I could be wrong.

Yes they’re 35 12.5 20 BFG KO2s. The ride is better than stock 22” wheels with Ridge Grappler 305/45 R22s
