Hello! I have seen several discussion but nothing definitive regarding this topic. Has anyone put on 35x12.5x18 tires on the stock rebel rims with no level or lift? I am planning on new tires and want the biggest I can get without mods or if I have to a leveling kit. I was looking at Nitto or Richard Cepek. I have a 2019 ram rebel with a ARE topper, decked bed system, and magnaflow catback exhaust. I am trying to build it into a bit of an overlander and want to keep the stock rims. Appreciate any feedback or comments!

They will probably fit if you want a mall crawler. You will not have room to air down for off road.

35s won’t work on an over lander without a level. You’d want 1-1.5” hubcentric spacers as well. Also do the mod of the back of the front fender well.

I have a 295/70R18, no issues with rubbing truck has air ride and is completely stock suspension wise.

Are you running any wheel spacers with the 295’s? I’ve been considering 295/65/18 on stock Rebel wheels. At 33”, they are same diameter as stock 275/70/18’s, but I wasn’t sure if they would clear the UCA’s.

I had 35 x 12.5 R20 on my stock 20" sport rims- totally fine for mall crawling so would be surprised if they rubbed much on a rebel. I did have to run small spacers to clear the UCA.

I have a Laramie with the ORG (same 1” lift as the Rebel). I have 285/65/R20’s which come out to about 34.6x11.2. I think you would run into issues trying to fit anything bigger than this without at least a level and/or spacers. Just my experience so far.

I am very interested in this topic as well. I am due for a new set on my 21' Rebel. I added a 2" spacer in the front and a 1.5" spacer in the rear with factory wheels. I would like to go 305/65/18 or 295/70/18. I like the wider tire look. Both of these sizes would have to be ordered at my local Discount Tire and I hate to order something that wont fit right but I would like to go as wide as I can.

The 305/65/18 BFG ko2 is .1 inch taller and 1.2 inch wider than the factory tires and should fit with no added lift. That is what I am going to put on My 2020 along with trx wheels (1" wider than stock with the same offset) and the Carli 2.0 commuter system which should give Me 1" lift in front and stock height in rear (lift not verified yet). Carli system should be here tuesday.

Curious how your setup worked with the 305/65/18 BFG KO2s. Looking to do the same with my 2020 Rebel with Air Suspension. Thanks!

Do I need a spacer if my wheels already have a 12mm offset? I do notice some rubbing in reverse when I turn too far with the stock 275/70/18 tires but I want to go to 35s. I assume I need to do a leveling kit as well like the others? And possible replace the control arms and air ride links ? (I have the air ride suspension)

I have 35x12.5 on 18x9, -12 offset and I required no trimming at all. Some guys do. Some guys don't. Each truck has its own quirks. I don't have air ride but you will need to be leveled or you will pound yourself to death on every bump if you go 35's and no lift. It doesn't all have to happen at once either. Do your level before the tires and you'll be great. Have fun and post pics of your progress.

I have 285 75 18's on stock rims on my rebel. I put a .25 spacer in front and have a leveling shock, biltien 5100. Works great

Ended up with 285 65 18 Falken Wildpeak AW3s, Speedometer is dead on, sidewalls are about 1/4" from hitting the upper control arms, and I can safely drive on wet pavement now. The 305s would have required wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels. These still sit under the fenders instead of sticking out throwing excess crap all over the side of the truck. The Carli suspension did not give any lift on the front and only about 1/2" on the rear but the ride is unbelievably smooth.
