I’m very excited I’ll be getting my 2019 Ram Rebel 4X4 with spring coils next Monday i love everything about the Rebel that said it would be really nice if i could fit a slightly bigger tires on stock wheels i was thinking 34’s as 35’s are to big for my taste is that possible? Thanks!

I’m running Nitto Terra Grapplers in 295/70-18, basically a 34 x 11.5, on my stock coil sprung Rebel with no issues. Waiting for Bilstein to come out with their adjustable shocks to level the truck.

How’s the clearance? Do you think it could handle another 1/2 inch width?

I am considering 295/70/18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's on my stock Rebel. They are a 34.25" diameter with a 12" section width measured on 8.5" wheels. Any reason why these won't fit?

That comes out to 11.61” You’ll need a 305 to get the 12”

Thanks Smashy and are you saying that on an 8" wheel like my rebel, the 295/70/18 will measure 11.61" wide instead of 12" wide on a 8.5" wheel? If so, it sounds like the tire should work on my stock set up with no issues.

Yes. I have the stock rebel wheels too and was considering 305/65/18. Which will have a diameter of 33.6", a section width of 12.0", I have air suspension and I may have to put helper links to trick my suspension sensors.

I don't think you have anything to worry about regarding height with the 33.6", but are you more concerned with the width, hence tricking the suspension? I don't think either of us have anything to worry about with height, even me at 34.25". I was more concerned with the width and rubbing the UCA.

Yeah, the width has me somewhat worried. My 4th gen I ran 305/55/20 with no problems at all. I did install billstein 2” struts with it. I’d feel more comfortable if the rims were 9”, 8” is stretching it but I’ve read many threads in other forums where a lot of guys were running 12” wide tired on 8” with no issues.
