34’s Tires on stock Rebel wheels?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on Cooper AT3 XLT - 295/70/18 on Ram Rebel OE wheels. I'm putting them on my Limited with Air Suspension with no lift. The truck came with skids, 3.92 and electronic locking rear, but the horrible 22 inch rims.

I think the stock Rebel OE rim is 8 inches wide. Is an 11.5 wide tire too wide for an 8-inch rim? The guy at Discount Tire said he was a little worried about the width. Thanks!

No issues running the 295/70/18 on an 8" rim. Most 295's are rated at 7.5-10" rims. Many owners run 12.50 width tires on factory 8" wheels on all models of trucks without problem. You will be fine. Post a pic when you're done.

That's great news, thank you for the information. I had heard the rule of thumb was you can go up to 4 inches on a rim, so 12 inches wide on a stock rebel rim. Awesome.

I‘m running Coopers 295/70/18 STT PRO’s they are 34.5 and 12 wide no rubbing before & After the lift on my coil suspension Rebel, my wheels are 9 wide and + 1 offset.

I’ve got a 2020 ram rebel with air suspension ordered one and a half inch spacers to widen a bit do you know if with air suspension the 33.98 would run with out rubbing

FWIW with Readylift Spacer lift, on a -12 rim, 295/70R18 rubbed quite a bit on the driver side mud flap for me. Might be different on the stock wheels though.

Any issues installing the Wulf spacer? Did you have enough threads on your studs once you put the spacer in? How much level/lift did the 1/2" spacer give you?

No problems at all and yes, plenty of thread left. I think I gained about 1/4". Certainly not 1/2".

guys running 295/70 r18 with bilstein set at level 4 what is your overall height to shark fin antenna (garage height issues) Anything helps !!
