2025 Rebel Taillights

I installed LED bulbs for all non-LED lights, Lasfit Combo pack. they are bright.
i did the same thing to my old bighorn. they were just as good IMO and if the bulb goes out ya just replace the bulb the the whole light.
the bright side is if you have to replace a housing/lens it's much cheaper.

I did lol but both the company I purchased from and the manufacturer said that if I got the convertor they'd work
Just so you know for future reference, the 1500 Classic is a 4th gen (DS) and your truck is a 5th gen (DT). That alone makes those tail lights incompatible with your truck. The shape of the tail lights openings is different. When shopping for parts for your truck you need to avoid any parts that are for the 1500 Classic.

Ram did their best to confuse people from 2019 thru 2014 in offering two completely different 1500’s. Kind of reminds me of when Coke was making both the New Coke and Coke Classic LOL.

Just spoke with a technician at my dealership.. the LED headlights and tail lights can work as is “plug and play” the problem is RAM doesn’t have the option to program or switch the ability to use the LED lights “yet” but could come in a future update to allow for modification to OEM headlight and taillight through programming in the PCM 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s definitely not a plug n play swap, there is missing wiring for the LED tails.
Stellantis won’t ever give the availability to add the LED tails sales code after the fact.

Only repeating what I was told.. just hope someone comes up with a work around soon

You have to replace the harness from behind the bumper up and add resisters. Retro Shop has the harness and resistors available.

^^This. There is no incentive for a car company to invest in giving customers the ability to add features like this. It's a sad truth that they're in the business to make money, not to delight customers.
