Purchased my 4th RAM on 6/28/25.
2025 RAM 1500 Rebel. Level 2.
After many trips to the GMC dealership for warranty repairs, it was time to trade in my 2022 Refresh GMC Sierra 1500 “forever truck” (pictured) and got back into a RAM. I feel like the RAM Gods punished me for trading in my 2019 1500 Laramie lol.
First thoughts, I love the upgrade RAM did with the Rebel. The refreshed front end and new style wheels made me pull the trigger for my purchase. I put the Rebel in the same class as the GMC AT4, Chevy Trail Boss and Ford Tremor. However, with the Rebel, you get more bells and whistles for the money.
I enjoy the Hurricane motor. It’s powerful and has little to zero turbo lag. The only downside is how quiet it is (expected). I’m currently exploring a good exhaust system to fix that.
The only thing I dislike about the truck are the upper control arms. I believe they’re made out of plastic. And it only having an 8 speed transmission. Other than that, the truck is solid. But I only owned it for 5 days, so that can change.
Future upgrades that I have in mind will be an exhaust, cold air intake, level the front 2” with Bilstein 5100s, put on 35” tires while keeping the stock wheels and tint the front windows. So nothing crazy.
