2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Thanks. I was just on the site, trying to find my way around. Recalls, complaints, investigations, and manufacturer communications. I can enter my VIN to filter it, but as you said, it's just not very user friendly.
Nope. They’re called manufactures communications. Best to EXPAND ALL on each page. Plus there’s usually duplicates

202 total communication items. And as you said, there are duplicates. There doesn't seem to be any way to search, either. Just have to expand each one and check it out. Half the time, I have to load the PDF to read details. Might take a while.... but at least it's all there.
Thank you!

You’re welcome. There used to be a thread but, it’s too much work to keep up. I just wish there was an index. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, my crash avoidance warning activated for the first time yesterday after 3 months and 3500 miles. I guess it does "work." Perhaps they are just not set as sensitive as other platforms; I certainly cannot purposely get it to fire off. Yes, I'm set in Uconnect on "far."

Try passing some one close without signal on . Its nuts says brake on dash touchscreen and hud i haven't had the brakes engage yet. I wonder when we use adaptive cruise control if the truck brake lights lite up when its hitting the brakes automatically . Mine is set to far also and i was on the highway and it noticed the traffic coming to a stop before i did there was an accident traffic went from 75 to 0 quick.

Mine has had the crash avoidance "off" warning light come on the dash several times. Also a warning has come up saying that Automatic Emergency braking is limited functionality -- service required. Each time I cycle on and off the vehicle, the warning light goes away and automatic braking, adaptive cruise, and hands free all work again.

I guess something is causing an error in the system every now and then and trips the warnings and then clears them when nothing else shows up. My dealer told me next time I see a light come on the dash to drive to the dealer and they'll hook up the scanner. They say they need an active code to diagnose. Hasn't done it again.

They've checked the codes that are in the system but not active and that wasn't one of them, but I'll ask next time.

Also, when I first got my truck 9 months ago, the Blind spot lights on the mirrors would stay on sporadically and then go off after a few start/stop cycles and hasn't come back. Other members have had the same issues with no resolution so far.

There’s also a STAR for that issue

You're the man! You are seriously on top of all this. Many thanks from all of us for the no nonsense help on things like this. Is there a list or database of some sort for STAR issues that we can access? I, too, have had the FEB warning, with the LED indicators in the mirrors staying on. In 3k miles it's happened twice for me, and resets with a power cycle. I've wondered if there's an issue with the long range radar alignment.

Nope, just browsing on the NHSTA website
