2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I purchased a 2025 1500 big horn level 1 equipment group 3 weeks ago. Overall I like the pickup. So far just under 700 miles.

Issues:
1. Low windshield washer fluid warning comes on sometimes. It's full
2. Two times now, when in park, the exhaust note pulses. However, the RPMs don't pulse. After driving again for a short time, it goes away when in park again.
3. Kinda has a rough ride compared to rams I've had in the past.
4. Over slightly aggressive bumps, there is a clunk from the rear. Not sure if it's the spare tire or the tailgate. There is a little vertical play on the tailgate.

I have not brought it in to the dealership for anything yet.
did you ever figure out what was causing 4.? My bighorn is clunking in the rear as well ( i removed my spare tire and it is still doing it).

You seem really eager to be incredibly stealthy leaving your vehicle at night…
^Well, that's true😁. Actually I do a lot of hunting, and depending on where I park on my properties I prefer to be able to get out of a truck without a light show going on or a bunch of crazy honking, fortunately Ram lets a guy turn off all the horn stuff too bad about all the "helpful" lights that so far can't be turned off (before they come on) from what I can tell. The "stealthy" part is also the reason I was hoping the tailgate would shut a bit quieter without having to put my shoulder into it with a BANG. The tailgate thing I'll have a dealer see if there's any adjustment, the light show I'll check with a dealer also although I'm not sure they can do anything about that. Those side mirror ground/puddle lights I'll never use, I imagine removing the bulbs would cause other problems. But that still leaves the bed lights and the back/top light next to the brake light that I wouldn't want to permanently stop from coming on so not sure what/if there's anything that can be done to change any of this.

On another note, I find it interesting that my truck shows 70 miles left to drive on the gas that's in the tank yet the gauge is a little over 1/4. Is that normal? To me 1/4+ tank should last more than 70 miles, but then again my average mpg according to the truck is only like 13.5 so maybe it is accurate?

13.5mpg x 26gal =351mi. 351mi/4=87.75… yeah, I’d say that’s close.
As you break it in more and the weather warms up, you should get better mpg (assuming you don’t drive it like a stock car), but overall that looks and feel right

Did they ever "solve" the suspension concern? I have a 2025 1500 and i am getting a similar noise under compression in the rear of my truck, dealer says suspension is fine and its not spare tire ( its still removed)
no, its been at the dealer for the last 3 weeks, waiting for a rear main seal that leaks oil. I haven't heard anything back about the suspension noise or pulling to the right at high speed.

That's what the oil leak was rear main seal omg. Last week when i did my oil change .I looked at the spot you showed before no oil leak but was wet around hole quarter size like it had leaked at one time.

weird issue this morning. Started it up and unlocked the truck. Drove to my destination and now the doors won’t lock or unlock either with fob or the door buttons. Lights still flash when I use the fob. Anyone ever run into this?

Yeah I used to hunt, at night, and was concerned with lights...

Can one of you helpful fellas check to see if your rear back seat windows (2025 Ram) will go all the way up and down with just one push of the button(s) on the driver side door armrest? With mine I need to hold the button the entire time, both up and down, which seems weird since the passenger window will go all the way up and down with just one push, just like the driver's window. I have other vehicles that the drivers window will go all the way up and down with one push, the other windows will go all the way down with one push, but not all the way up. This makes sense assuming the idea is to not accidentally shut anyone's fingers in a closing window, but if my Ram is working correctly I'm not sure why I'd like to accidentally shut the passenger's fingers in a closing window but not the rear passenger's fingers? Clearly I'm missing something, which IS entirely possible!

One touch up/down applies to front windows only from either driver or passenger side. It’s in the manual

that is unfortunate! hopefully they can fix that! those rear main's seem to be on backorder all the time. My truck has now started to produce a creaking (it has the high pitch tone of a cricket) when i turn the wheel at low speeds, so that's fun. I will update on both of those if/when the dealer can "fit me in".

I got a notice this morning that there was an update for Uconnect. Didn’t really have much info as far as what was new but this is the current bIMG_3164.jpeguild for my truck right now. Anyone else get an update?
