Hey everyone,
I’m running into the classic "Ram Lean" on my 2023 Big Horn 5.7L eTorque and could use some advice from those who have successfully leveled it out without sacrificing ride quality.
The Current Setup:
• Kit: Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 2 (Front Coilovers / Rear Shocks & Springs).
• UCAs: ReadyLift aftermarket upper control arms
• Goal: Achieved a "Rebel + Level" height (approx. 3.5" total over stock to fit 35x12.5R20 -18 offset)
The Problem:
To get the truck level, my driver-side coilover is completely maxed out on the threads. Because of the weight, that side sits significantly lower than the passenger side. While the passenger side feels "fantastic," the driver side is now harsh and bumpy because the spring is under so much preload.
What I’m considering:
1. Adding a 1/4" or 1/2" top-hat strut spacer to the driver side only (allowing me to back off the coilover threads to restore ride quality).
2. Adding a small rear coil spacer on the driver-side rear to see if the "cross-weight" helps the front.
3. Looking into heavier spring rates?
My Questions:
• For those with the Ram/eTorque lean, did you go the spacer route or did you just live with the stiff ride?
• If you used a top-hat spacer on a coilover, did you run into any issues with CV angles?
• Are there specific "Lean Spacers" you recommend for the 5th Gen?
Really trying to get that smooth Eibach ride back on the left side of the truck. Thanks in advance for the help!
