2023 Order

Hey Kumba1010, I don't know if your question about pricing was answered.
FWP (Factory Wholesale Price) is lower than MSRP, but higher then FFP and EP. I'm still not exactly sure where the "invoice price" fits into this.
Here is a screenshot of my quote from MD back in January 2022 (truck details in my sig):-

Thanks G'Dave

Received an email from RAM yesterday saying order received and a VON #. They let you sign up for Text message updates. That's progress. Looks like I'll buy out my lease in December. After reading this thread there's no way I will see the new Laramie until sometime in 2023.

Thanks for the response. Also the Night Edition lists a lowered ride height 1". The Off Road Group lists a higher ride height 1". So which is it? I still have time to Cancel the ORG according to my Dealer. I do have VON# but no additional info>
This is the first time I have heard someone reference a lower ride height on the Night Edition. I have always felt my '22 Ram sat a little lower than my '20 did, but I thought it might just be a function of the GT package. Can you tell me where you found this info?

What package is the 360 camera a part of?
Its part of the Advanced Safety Group package. I got it for the Adaptive Cruise control but also has some other neat features. Love the 360 camera!

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go
Automatic High-Beam Headlamp-Control
Lane Keep Assist
Parallel and Perpendicular Park-Assist with Stop
Pedestrian Emergency Braking
Surround-View Camera System
Tailgate Ajar Warning-Lamp

I test drove a 2022 Rebel and I thought it had the advance safety package but I don’t remember the surround view camera…I do remember the front view for rock crawling

I can't find any info on a 1" lowered height for a 2023 Ram 1500 Laramie Night Edition. Only that the Off Road Group has a 1" higher height.

Does anyone know how much the latest price increases were for Ram 1500?

I noticed online that when you build a 2022 model the price has gone up. I placed my 1500 order August 30th and at the time my build was $2400 more for the 2023.

talked to my buddy who owns a dealership and he said they are still ordering 2022 trucks and that they wont be doing any 2023 orders until october. This is up here in Canada btw.

2022 orders closed in mid-August. 2023 orders have been open for over two months, and production is currently set to begin on 11/10/22.

That said, Canadian orders are weird. If you order a 2023 model now in Canada, you might get a 2024 model in about 18 months.

Yikes! I mean he was also saying wait time are 4-6months to get the truck. If for say I want to order a 2023 rebel GT night edition fully loaded and get a 2024 model would it come with a v8 or the new twin turbo v6?

It will be an electric-fusion hybrid. Technology moves fast, man

Got an updated POC from my dealer today.
Ordered 9/15/22
VON# 9/17/22
VIN# 9/23/22
Status “D”
Scheduling priority 1, (probably doesn’t mean jack)
Build priority 01 (probably doesn’t mean jack)
I know production doesn’t start till 11/10/22 but at least things are moving on paper. The Ram website isn’t updated often. It only shows order excepted and a VON#
2023 Laramie 1500, 4x4 ECODIESEL

It’s gonna be a long wait for us…I am already so eager. Tried to look up a ETA of all the steps for a general estimate. Dealer said 16-20 weeks once production begins, so some time in March 2023 😭🔫 **Ordered a 2023 Rebel GT**

I ordered mine last Friday. I got the VIN Monday and found this forum looking for any information I could find on when it might get built.

Seems like a lot of cool people so I decided to join.

I just hope I can limp my 3rd gen along long enough for mine to get here 😬
