Not a fan of the digital dash. Ford is this way too now. I wouldn’t be surprised if the 2023 Ram follows

The light up steering wheel is interesting new tech.

The 3.0 Duramax is now rated upto 13,300 lbs towing

13.4” center screen

Overall it looks like a nice refresh

Well it's certainly different from what they currently have. I agree about the all digital gauge cluster. I like having analog gauges at least for the basic things. I'm also not sure about that center screen. Sure, it's bigger than my screen, but I don't think I like it being configured as landscape instead of portrait mode. And the steering wheel bling made me laugh a little. I drive with my hand at the 12 o'clock position most of the time so I wouldn't see much of that light. I guess I was hoping for something that would make me go "wow", but I'm a little bit underwhelmed by it and definitely prefer the interior in my Limited. Although I'll reserve my final judgement until I actually sit in one. Which might not be until their next redesign LOL. I'm glad to see they are at least making an effort to keep up after so many years of blah interiors.

How can you fail to be wowed by that 1970's faux-woodgrain glove box? There was a time when every television set and stereo had that same fake walnut on it.

It’s certainly an upgrade from what they have now. What do I see when I look at the new interior? Buttons, buttons and more buttons!

Look, i love my limited, sure, but there’s a lot to like here too. That looks like real wood to me, I like the physical climate control buttons and the general layout. The pictured truck looks like it’s got lockers front and rear, a rear entertainment center, and super-cruise, which is awesome… not really an interior thing. Gonna go hunting for pics of the rear seats.

I don’t like the console shifter; every time I see a shifter in the console I think “what a waste of space”, but that aside, I think it’s a great looking interior. Glad to see Chevy stepping it up and I think this puts them at least on par with Ford.

Not a fan of the center stack big screens being landscape oriented either, but at least Chevy looks like they put some thought into the overall integration of them instead of it looking like someone glued a tablet to the dash <cough> Toyota <cough>. As I said in another thread, a lot of it looks promising... subject to the old butt-in-seat test of course.

ETA: Hope they smoothed out the ride/suspension. The Silverado we were rented rode like ****.

Make a new truck like this, but will better materials, better workmanship, better seats, better engine, and better transmission, BUT the same body, and I'd consider another Chevrolet. I loved this truck, but it might as well have been made our of spit wads and chewing gum.

Not Handy's actual 85 Silverado, but almost identical to it.

It is definitely an upgrade to their previous generation, the horizontal screen might make you over reach when using the touch screen.
My father in law has a small Cadillac SUV and it looks like the similar gear selector, It is weirdly functional.

My first truck was an 85 Chevy half ton 6.2L diesel. That truck went for over 250k miles before I sold it. The only thing I ever did besides oil changes was to replace the injector pump. Mine was brown and beige two-tone.

I think it looks pretty good overall, hate the console shifter, love the engine options. Ram really really needs to get their sh*t together and offer some upgraded/new powerplants, they are falling woefully behind.

Of course, this is the HIGH COUNTRY trim level, which will have most of the high end features a Custom, or LT wont.

Maybe I have been living under a rock too often... when did GMC start offering front and rear lockers on their trucks?

At least for full sizers, since yesterday when they introduced the Silvy ZR2. Colorado ZR2 has had it since it’s debut a few years ago.
