2022 Orders

Not sure how old that satellite image is on Google Maps (@Eighty), but there are hundreds to thousands of RAM's sitting there!
Unfortunately google map image capture was Nov 2020! (At least street view)

Anyone else not have luck getting a reply from Aaron? Sent him an email last week and no response. I had a question on if for 2022 blind spot is standard on Longhorn (like on Limited)?
I emailed Aaron last Monday morning (7/26) and received a response from Sandi the following afternoon. I worked with Sandi to place my order.

To the left side of the map it shows a bar graph of “live” data and represents how busy it is. My guess, google is using analytics for the area to show how busy the vicinity is not necessarily a live map.

Yes, I was talking about the bar graph. On the TRX forum, someone said that it showed (correctly) that it was empty during the recent shutdown. So it appears to be good data.

My sales rep called and emailed me to say the tech group is no longer available. I ordered via phone late July 19th and put a deposit down. 7-22 I asked if they were able to get the truck ordered and he said yes.

I don't personally have my VIN yet, but I figure my order almost certainly has a VIN assigned by now. Yesterday my rep told me they'll have the VIN when the truck is being made and the order to delivery process will be half done then. I don't know why I can't get my VIN when most orders get it right away.

I hope there wasn't a dealer or factory issue that prevented my order from being submitted right after I ordered it (7-19). Something like a computer or human error. Is it possible the dealer was at their limit for July vehicles and had to wait until August to really submit the order to Ram?

Who knows, the truck could show up as ordered in a few months. Now I'm half hoping for a later build date to give the parts supply time to catch up. How the tides have turned!

@Eighty can you add me to the spreadsheet as a wildcard in the corner maybe? Then we can keep record of changed orders.
Try Ram Chat, and see if they can give you the VIN. Did your dealer give you a VON number?

I don't think I've emailed Aaron much after my order was put in. I mainly just bug Sandi now. She always gets back to me same day. This morning she responded pretty quick.

Looks like SHAP is working this week. The TRX guys reported 9 new build sheets this morning. And a new trick I just heard of: If you look up Stellantis Sterling Heights Assembly Plant on Google Maps, it will give you a "live" update on how busy it is. And it definitely shows that there are people at the plant. So the rumors appear to be false that the plant is shut down this week.
When a plant ****s down it’s not a evacuation of the entire facility. My company shuts down for a week in august and in January but there are still 100 or so people here. We do maintenance that can’t be done while we are in production the place is cleaned from top to bottom. There are people here doing miscellaneous things to insure a safe and productive work environment. I’m a facility manager at my place of employment

Ordered a 22 Limited last Monday 7/26 and dealer just provided me a VIN: 1C6SRFHT5NN147657. No indication of build date yet. Really looking forward to this truck!

I ordered from Sandi at Mark Dodge and I had an official order the same day I put down my deposit. I know this because my Priced Order Confirmation (POC) lists the date and time that my order was placed.

My order was on 7/17 and as of then, they still had all of the parts available. I'd be curious to see the official order date on your POC, although they may not have input it until you put the deposit down.

I'm really hoping that the existing orders will still be built as ordered!

Spoke with my dealer a few minutes ago. He confirmed that my order hasn't seen any changes (i.e., no deletions) as of right now. He also confirmed that he can't place any orders with Tech Group or the Harmon-Kardon stereo. He's going to see if his GM can get any info from Stellantis about existing sold orders, and let me know what he hears.
He says he has several DJ's (2500's) that are in D1 status, but not a single DT as of right now.

Thanks! I don't have the tech package, but I do have the Rebel 12 package and really want the Harmon Kardon stereo!

Sure, here's an updated chart (along with a couple of others that chimed in in the past few days). If anyone not listed below is interested in providing info, it would be helpful.

On the WAG lookahead, I went ahead and changed the "start of production" assumption to 7/26, based on intel provided by @redriderbob.

Echo previous post that I have only dealt with "sandi" at Mark. Only emailed Aaron once from this forum and he bumped me over to Sandi. Email: orders @markdodge.net. I ordered a Limited Longhorn. I asked and received from Sandi a printout of all the standard features on the Longhorn. It's 5 pages long. PM me and I can send it to your email. The "blind spot" as far as I know, and I reviewed the printout, is not on the list of standard features. It is listed under Level 1 equipment group from the 2021 builds on ramtrucks.com. I ordered the Level 1 package in my 22' build and it is listed on my POC as Longhorn Level 1 Equipment Group. Hope this helps.

2500 lurker here... I ordered a 2500 on 6.21. RamChat said all my parts are gathered and assembly should start soon. Dealer says I am D1 status and shows an estimated ship date of 8.11.2021, but that doesn't seem possible.

Thank you sir! Troncalli in Cumming, GA. They give school employee discounts.

What was the school employee discount like? I am also employed by a school board. As an accountant - not a teacher - but they don't have to know that haha.

I'm not a teacher either I am in procurement. Its says my discount was $4,489.00. I got 8 quotes and this was the best one I could find in the area.

The DJ's (2500's) are starting production on 8/9, so it's possible.
