2022 Orders

Am I crazy?
I have gone this far with this. I ordered a 2022 Longhorn in Mid May. (It was 2021, but that's just when they shifted to 2022s in ordering, so it's now a 2022.) So, I have been waiting 4 months. As of today, no build or ship info. It's been so long that they now have this new 2022 Limited 10th anniversary coming out, and I love the new exterior blue and the interior. (as best that can be seen online). That blue is what I really wanted on the one I ordered (patriot blue). The warm brown interior of the longhorn is really nice, but I do love the new seats on the 10th anniversary. Dealer said I could order the 10th anniversary limited and they would just put the one I ordered on the lot when it gets here. How far out would that put me in receiving a truck? The end of the year might be wishful thinking???
Can you even officially order this yet?
It'll put you at the end of the line but probably worth it if you can wait. I've seen interior in person and other than some cloth inserts it's incredible. I can't wait for mine!!

Did mine on Wednesday with Sandi.

If you find a cure for "watching every single Youtube video of your model-itis" please let me know. It's going to be a long few months of waiting.
Did mine with Renae at MD on the 15th as well. Mentally preparing for a long wait. They stated about 20 weeks but I’m anticipating some hiccups along the way. Glad this support group is so active to make the waiting less painful.

Hahaha. I look everyday for a new video of the GT interior. So I can get a better look at what I’m buying

I did one better. I ordered 2 Rebels, both exact same spec, one with GT package and one without. I'll look it over in person and decide which one I want :).

20? Oof. I was told 12-14 but that was a few weeks ago and I'm sure subject to change but thankfully I'm not in any rush to have a new vehicle payment so I can wait a bit.

Feel like sharing your order details for the tracker? Every extra data point helps the collective mind.

How many of you that have trucks in the build process had estimated ship dates that you are aware of and how close was the build process to those dates? Would be good to know for those of us who are sitting on ship dates.

2 days for mine. Build sheet today supposed to ship on the 18th.

I have officially joined the waiting party! Ordered my 2022 Ram Rebel today from Mark Dodge - that dealership is top notch and they really take care of you! Thanks to everyone on this forum for sharing information - absolutely awesome and definitely helped me with ordering my first truck!

I had an estimated ship date of 09/14/21
my truck started being built on sept 15 and was completed on sept 16… no word of when it will ship yet

If my dealer would have told me twenty weeks I would have walked out the door. If it is not in my driveway within three months from order day someone else can have it.

You do realize the entire market right now is like that...nomatter who you order from.

And if you find something on the lot, good luck with paying anything below msrp, because dealers will pass on your every time, because they know some other sucker will pay $$$k over msrp.

It's a tough market right now...like that until the end of the year at least.

So my dealer informed me that my previous order which was in late April for a 2021 Ram Rebel arrived the day before yesterday. That is roughly 2 months longer than what they originally said it would be! Nonetheless, hopefully, my other truck will be here 3 weeks later????? I doubt it but one can hope!

You know it's a tough market when even Hyundai is adding a 10k market adjustment on top of MSRP. Never seen anything like it...

That said i just cleared 9k on a lease buyout so I'm not complaining .

Nice. Thats why I'm back in the market ordering my 2022. I had a 2020 laramie (that I had for 8 months) and I traded it in for my order. Made about $8k from that deal.

That extra money helped me place my order for my 2022, with everything I wanted.

Spending somebody else's money is just fun too. Got one more to move once I have a truck to pick up and hope to have about 20٪ of build price paid for with somebody else's money.

No way I convince myself to order a Limited Eco with every option but off road if we leave that equity on the table and turn both Volvos in.

I feel bad for you guys waiting for your trucks. I'm so thankful I have my '21 and don't have to worry about all of these delays. I know if must be excruciating, but eventually, you will have your truck - hang in there!

Well, I’ve been shipped to storage. I’m not sure if it’s better to be waiting on a pile of parts to get put together, or having a built truck hanging out enjoying the late summer/early fall weather in Michigan?
Hmm… I don’t like the sound of that. Is there any way for your dealer to find out what type of “storage” (i.e., indoor, covered, Ford-style)? And why?
