2021 RAM LIMITED or 2021 F150 PLATINUM or LIMITED?

How was the ride vs the Ram?
Very nice. We just drove for a couple of minutes since they had a predetermined course, but I could not find any fault in the ride vs my AS RAM.
I would have to drive it a bit longer to get a good gauge, but my first impression was very positive.

Still think the Ram Limited looks better than the Ford F150 Platinum. Some nice interior upgrades from those pics though. Ford is upping the game.

Bought my '20 Limited ED 3 weeks ago and glad I got back into a Ram. Was driving a Jeep GC SRT for 3 years and missed the truck. I did peek at the Chevy's, Ford's and Toyota's but the Ram still gets you more for the price, plus the better ride. I've owned 2 rams and 2 fords in the past, never went back to ford after the rams.

It is a good time to trade if you have decent equity in a well equipped vehicle, beginning of the year (before covid) KBB trade-in on the Jeep was 30K, ended up getting 36K on the trade. The dealer sold the Jeep in less than 2 weeks.

Since you don't seem to mind taking the loss on frequent new car purchases, go with the F150. If you don't like it, jump back into a Ram the next year. Let us know how it goes.

I drove the 2021 F150s weekend before last. Two Platinums. Std 3.5 TT EB and a Hybrid.

Very, very nice. The hybrid 3.5 EB was insanely fast (well, the std EB was insanely fast as well compared to the Hemi...).
Very refined interior and ride. Very impressed with what they've done. The new infotainment has been nicely implemented and I really love the landscape screen. Love that they kept the standard HVAC & seat heat/cooling buttons.

I am seriously considering them and will test drive them again when it's time I go shopping.
How much is the hybrid upgrade?

If you'd keep the truck for at least 5 years it ends up being more than worth the upgrade cost...assuming the hybrid system is issue free for years and years lol. Let's face it ..Ford doesn't have the best reputation with their hybrid systems compared to other brands.
Oh I agree. I would not get a hybrid for the MPG savings. The performance aspect is what's cool though.
For me it doesn't make sense anyway. I usually don't keep my vehicles longer than three years, and I only drive between 6-7k miles / yr.
