I ordered mine on 12/28/18. I checked with RAM on 2/5/19 and it was still D1 with no ETA. But I happened to check for my Build Sheet and it showed up today! So I contacted RAM and sure enough, it was already built and is off to the Body Vendor (JB). I honestly was not expecting to hear anything for a couple more weeks but now it looks like I might even have it before the end of the month..

Yes

JB - Body Vendor. The vehicle is sent off site to have a spray liner put in, steps, etc.

Bed step also in my case. I also think they deal with things for the Rambox and Bed Utility Group, which I am also getting.

Hello all...is it correct that you don't know what rebates you get until your order is delivered? I have seen some say they "locked" in rebates. If you don't know what the delivery date is, does anyone know how Ram rebates trend from here on for a couple of months?

I have been told by the dealer and heard it from many other people, that you will get the best of any and all rebates availible from when you order to when you take delivery. But I think it is up to you to know what ones were avaible in order to ensure you really did get the best. I am not sure I would trust the dealer to track them all for you when they already have the sale.

I just got off a chat session with FCA customer service, and he stated that it is STILL a 2-3 week delay between KZ date and dealer receive date.

Well, at least it is in the shipping phase after only 5 weeks on order. My order from 12/28 is still @ JB. But I completely relate to your anxiousness.

Mine went into JB on 2-9 so it was essentially built on the 9th. I got the build sheet on the 9th.
The window sticker became available yesterday the 12th.

Interestingly, the window sticker shows the built date as 2-11-2019. So it seems the build date is actually based on when it is finished at JB and moved to KZ. Once the body vendor is finished and it is sent out for shipping that is the actual build date.

After what seemed like a long wait, I picked up my truck last weekend. Very happy with everything, except the tow mirrors. The fact that these big guys do not power fold is crazy.

Big fan of the RamBox and I'm happy I ordered this option. Yes, the bed is smaller, but that is not a problem for my needs.

So my dealer is telling me they can't get the eTorque or ORG on my Limited order, both on restriction. This was 2/7. Does this vary by region or dealer or? Frustrated.

That’s super frustrating and really odd. I’m not sure what the answer is. Seems to me that either of our dealers could be opporating with old info. I’m just not sure how the special order process goes with vehicles and so I’m not going to feel comfortable with any of it until I take delivery of a truck.

This is going to be the longest 8-16 weeks of my life.

My dealer told me this afternoon, that the vehicle is now in Toledo, OH. No idea how long it will sit there before it is shipped to the dealer though.
