I wanted to share my experience with other users and potential buyers. I have had my 2019 RAM 1500 Limited since last year and it has 19k miles on it. To date I have had to have numerous repairs on the truck. The latest repair was completed today where the radio was replaced. All in all I have been without my truck for at least 30 days due to all the repairs. My repairs have included:
1. ABS recall
2. Front brake caliper replacement
3. Hood repairs
4. Ground cable repair
5. Occupant restraint recall
6. AC repair
7. Rear brake and rotor replacement (4 times to the dealer on this issue alone)
8. Adjustable brake pedal repair
9. Radio replacement
I am very disappointed in Dodge. Having spent close to 60k on a new truck I would not expect to have had so many issues with it. I reached out to Dodge to have a discussion around a buyback (vs litigation) and was told by the case manager that she only handled radios and could not assist. I believe I have a strong case under NYS lemon laws to have this vehicle replaced by the manufacturer. I am very concerned about the long term viability of this vehicle. Once the warranty expires I am afraid this is going to cost me dearly to keep on the road given all these problems.
