2.5 inch level kit for 2wd

so after years of owning a slammed car i decided to get a truck. i don’t do any offroading and i live in south florida so i saved some money and bought the 2wd 1500 bighorn. now i’m trying to find a 2.5 inch leveling kit for it and the only thing i can find over 2 inches is for 4wd…. what’s the difference? is the strut different? is the control arm on the 2wd not long enough? can someone point me in the right direction please lol?
