Thank you. The issue doesn’t appear to be a dead battery but something else causing the truck to not power up at all. The dealer couldn’t find any codes or any issues while they had it. They flashed and updated the computer hoping that would solve the issue. I won’t know if that solves it until some time with the truck passes.

I think I found the issue with my truck being randomly dead. I found a missing nut on one of the positive wire connections at the fuse box in the engine compartment. The positive has a jumper (flat metal not wire) over to the post next to it but there was nothing there to hold it down. It wasn’t flopping around or anything but it could have warped or got some build up under it to cause random loss of power. We’ll see in the next few days if that’s all it was.
