I bought a SST 3.5 kit for my 2020 Big Horn 4x4 a few weeks ago, and looking to order some Bilstein 5100s and 5160s soon, but once I get that all mounted up, I want to do an 18" wheel as well. I want bronze, was going to do the Fuel Shoks since other members have that set up, but these American Racing AR202s caught my eye...

Was wondering if anyone heard if these fit or not? I see pics of them on 4th gen Rams, but not any on the 5th gens...

I can confirm Icon Rebounds (18x9) fit, no issues. Also running 275/70R18s without issue so far on the stock vanilla coil suspension.

Looks great. Are you happy with these tires? I'm looking to get the same ones on a stock set up. Did you see much change in fuel economy? How much did the minor diameter change effect your speedometer?

I'm happy so far, my truck looks like a truck!

Haven't been driving much lately, but it looks like I'm losing roughly 2-2.5 mpg in typical suburban driving. It could also be partially due to winter gas and warming up in the morning, but the weight difference (~20 lbs per tire) is a big factor. I did notice a difference in the amount of braking needed coming up to stop lights, but I've already adjusted to that. I'm hoping highway mileage will be about equal to the stock tires, but not holding my breath.

They've been great in the little snow we've been getting in the Denver area, no 4WD needed. One of the reasons I wanted the ATXs was that they seem to have more siping than a lot of the other AT/MTs out there. I'm hoping to get them off road soon, but I'm not sure when that's going to happen.

The difference in diameter is about 4%, so about 1.5-3 mph faster, depending on how fast you're going. (Just math, no actual testing) There is a bit of hum vs the stock tires. It's not loud or obnoxious, but it's there.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I was a little worried that the extra weigh was going to have that effect but what can you do..... I think your truck looks great with this combination!

I’m looking at the Fuel Tech D672’s but haven’t seen any one attempt to run these? 18x9 with +1 off set. My shop I’m using was recommended to go 20’s by their supplier because of 18’s often having fitment issues.

Just got my 21 Laramie back. 18x9 fuel blocks +1mm offset with 285/65r18 ta ko2 and bilstein 6112

Nice, looks great! How did your shop go about ordering them? I had 2 shops not want to try 18’s on my truck so I may just order them online and bring them into the guys that put my tires on. It was wheel pros who pretty much distributes every wheel company out there now that recommended not to do 18’s.

18" Fuel Covert D716 Matte Anthracite Center w/ Black Ring Wheels -12 offset fit just fine. They had to hammer mount the balancing weights, but all fine. Running 35x12.5.

A local shop ordered a set of these for me but with 0 offset.....they did not fit. The wheel would not turn due to caliper interference. Ended up withFuel Grapplers:

They work well with 0 offset. Sadly, they have a different bronze center, that I did not notice, and they do not look as good on my truck....but they do go round and round.

Well that’s cool that your shop worked to get you the next best thing. I need to try another shop. Sucks that 18’s are so difficult to work with on these trucks. The last shop I worked with was booked out over a month out so I bet they just didn’t want it to take up more of their time. That and my size was back ordered so they also could have been just trying to push what was available.

Thought that I’d share because I definitely know the struggle… I have a 2022 Rebel with 18x9 fuel shok with a -12 offset on 295/70/18 cooper evolution tires (34.3”x11.6”) I have a 2” rough county level in the front and absolutely no rubbing. I’m happy with the look. I’ll update the pictures once it stops raining in Seattle and I can clean it up.

Looks great, could I get a part number for that wheel? I have a set ordered by I'm concerned about the backspacing. Thanks
