12.0 GPS Navigation Location Wrong

Finally replaced the air card and now my gps is working. However my sos button isn't and I cannot activate it from inside truck. I called calling sirius and guardian but they aren't much help. Anyone have this happen after a card replacement?
Allow the bcm 24hrs and see if that corrects the issue.

I took on this project today. After having my location 100's of miles off and getting weather alerts for areas that didn't apply to me, I found this thread and ordered the part from eBay. $45
Something I struggled with was where the location of the card was. Initially I was looking on the back of the main radio after disconnecting the cables. After unscrewing all sorts of stuff, I realized it was more likely in the module BEHIND the main screen. So a few screws and a number of cables later I found what I was looking for and got this done.
Thanks so much for this thread! The dealership was completely useless with this issue.

Nice job, sorry I’m on vacation in Hawaii and didn’t respond sooner

I purchased a 2019 RAM 1500 Limited less than 2 weeks ago. I didn’t realize when I was test driving the vehicle that the navigation was messed up. According to my navigation, I was hanging out with Santa Clause and heading Northeast while driving due South. I scheduled a diagnostic and service call with my dealer and they told me that the diagnostic fee was $145 and they doubted that it’d be covered with my warranty as it would be seen as a “preexisting condition”. I scoured the internet and found that this could be thousands to repair (replacement being the most frequent diagnosis). I ran across this forum and had to register just to thank @Tallus and everyone on this thread. I ordered the Air Card (PC Board Sierra Wireless Air-Prime AR7552 4G) from eBay seller YeroEL E-commerce. for $48 after tax and shipping and followed the installation instructions @Tallus provided (along with a YouTube video from Waterfowler 41). Now, it works perfectly! GPS reliability is HIGH when it was NONE before! I completed the repair tonight, but I hope to answer the question that some others had (Does this fix the SOS and Assist connection issues?). I am hopeful because I attempted to activate the Sirius Guardian features and received an email from them after the attempt. The connection “timed out” but I am going to take @Tallus advice and give it a day or two and try again. Another issue that you may encounter is not having “ownership” on the RAM app which is how you manage many of these service plans. I plan to call the service line tomorrow to resolve the ownership issue and then re-attempt the Sirius Guardian setup. Thanks again!

I did the exact same thing. Took the whole radio apart and was disappointed when I didn’t see where the card would fit. Quickly realized it doesn’t go in the radio but in the module behind the radio. This fix 100% worked on my 2019 Limited with 12” screen. I used the part that Tallus has in his link above

My sos still doesn't work, gps has been great since replacement. The sos button doesn't work, my app can't connect, and under nav when I search the lte signal is missing. I will see if the dealer can help next.
