12” radio help

Buying a 12” radio with module from a junk yard what else will I need to swap my 8.4 radio? New to this forum thanks in advance

Nothing if you have 8.4 NAV.
If you have Non-Nav you'll need LVDS cable.
if needed:
That is it? Any radio codes or extra programming needed? I was looking in YouTube videos amd I am just a little confuse. Thanks for the input.

I thought you were asking about hardware, And you basically has everything you need, That's why i said nothing lol. It definitely needs a little more than that.
You will need to Repin a connector, Get the radio code and program the BCM to the new module.
Not as hard as you think, you just need to know what you're doing.

Serial number.
You can also get the code by the vin from the dealership.
