So despite the Uconnect website saying I did not need an update I received another one shortly after posting and I am now at version 24. They gave me a halfway decent explanation of how they push updates and said if I still had issues they could push version 26 out of cycle. Seems okay for now...
I thought it might be really old based on the 26 update thread. Not sure why I received such an old one or how to get the latest over air. Would prefer not to just download one off the forum. Probably ok but maybe not…. Any way to force it other than going to dealer?
Since I updated to FCA-MY22-S23.13-PROD about 2 weeks ago I have had an issue where I shut off the engine and everything seems normal, however when I open the door the radio comes back on. I mucked around with the radio timeout settings and power on with start which fixed it for a day or two...
I don’t remember the name of the service/shipping site but it seems to be all bids and then MD vets/researches bidders for their reviews. I was told 1200-1600 to NJ but didn’t want to mess around. They suggested starting at 13-1400 I said to do 1450 and got picked up the next day. Good luck!
Peeps from NJ... how did the MD to MVC process go for you? I’m sure MD will send in everything that was needed but I worry about the MVC... I didn’t see any way on the MVC website to track progress and would be surprised if I could, but hoping not to have the temp tags expire while they take...
This was me as well. I wanted to love the new Tundra. Seeing their reliability problems, and crazy markups, I figured I'd dive in to a Ram. Always loved the look of the Rebel and Toyota's new design doesn't even come close. I do think you get a super skewed view on FB and Forums though so I'm...
So the one thing I don’t love is the Mark Dodge sticker on the back glass. Anyone remove theirs? Just a razor blade job or did you use a heat gun first? I don’t want to find out the hard way that the back glass scratches super easily or shatters under moderate heat. :) thx!
I did it as well because I was shipping and figured it might protect it a bit more on the trip up. It looks great but I have no basis for comparison, nor do I have a before/after in person look.
Woohoo. Just took delivery of my Rebel! Accidentally turned on the bed light and couldn’t figure out how to turn it off. :) (For a few). Thanks Triple_B and Eighty and everyone who chimed in along the way. She’s a little dirty from the trip and it’s after midnight so pics later this weekend. and...
For those who shipped up from MD.. did you tip the driver if you were happy with the condition of the truck? Not sure if they are mostly owner/operators or employees of larger companies. Thanks!
