My truck went into the shop about 3 months ago for the check engine light being on. They said the damper that opens on acceleration was stuck so i figured that wouldve fixed the humm but i guess not.

I have an engine drone noise at 2k rpm. Went to the dealer several times and everytime they said "all is normal."

I can't understand how its "operating as designed." I've borrowed friends trucks with 190,000 miles on them and its been more of a quiet ride.

Look in fuse section in your manual, itll show you where the fuse is located for the ANC, obviously if there is no fuse in that spot then you dont have it.

If you do anything else to help the sound let me know.

Definitely more quiet, the guy told me that's pretty much my only option.

Update** the resonator was installed this morning and there is definitely a significant different especially going up hills and acceleration from a stop. In the end I get it's a v6 but the $190 was worth it to quiet the inside of the can down in my opinion.

He said he has room before the muffler and maybe another one further up towards the driver/passenger seat. I've brought it to the dealee formoil changes and I've had them check for an exhaust leak also. That's the only way I can describe the noise.

2019 Big Horn 3.6L v6. This is the second time the check engine light has come on when I hear a loud fan noise coming from the engine. The next day the check engine light is gone. Is there some sort of a cooling fan that comes on at some point to trigger this? Thanks

2019 3.6L exhaust drone, could this flange not being flush have something to do with the drone? There is another flange further down the pipe that seems to be seat flush. Thanks for any info
