With a laptop mount there needs to be a few factors to look at. First how heavy is the laptop, 2nd do you need it to be easily remove the laptop and the mount itself. 3rd, do you still want the passager seat to be able to be used, as in someone sit in it? There are many different mounts out...
For me I don't care for the new front end of the 5th gens, plus the price was just amazing, and one more note, I don't like getting the first year of a new design, that is when you get issue that a year or two down the road have been fixed..
I can contest to this, I am a Ram Classic owner as well, The price was just to good to pass up and I am still not sold on the new front end of the 5th gens lol....
you don't have to remove the lower part of the box, just the upper part, so before you take it in for warranty work put the top back on from the Factory air box.
I did this while test driving another ram that sold before I could get back there. The sales guy was oh you can do that and then I pushed it again and they extended.. He was shocked..

Where you buying your Ram at Ram Daddy, I just picked mine up at the end of the month from Pearson on Broad, they have a Truck center now and just opened it in December across the Street in the old Kia lot..
