I would have to say perfectly. The truck arrived just as ordered. They honored the original price (invoice minus 1000 based on May pricing). They also gave me the current $500 incentive that is available for 2022s. The Wlndow Sticker is about $1400 higher than the original MSRP and they didn't...
How do you know that? Nobody can tell you why you're truck is stalled in JB. Remember, Inspection, JB, and JS have big parking lots that can store vehicles for what ever purpose Shap decides is needed.
Been waiting since May. The truck is at the depot waiting to be trucked 35 miles to the dealer. Fifth day since arriving at the depot. Waiting for that phone call from the dealer that he has it is so much more intense than all the waiting for it to go through the build process. Can't make any...
Mine is also at the depot. It has a 35 mile trip to the dealership. Needless to say i'm keeping the phone handy. Still planning to drive it back to Alaska if I can get a 6 day weather window on the 3200 mile route.
Well my truck was off loaded at the Cottage Grove MN rail yard last night. Now waiting for it to be trucked to the dealership 35 miles away. Should be able to pick it up next week.
Just found out that, during shipping, Ram Chat can only see the delivery window and the date of delivery to the purchasing dealership. All consistent with the information that FCA puts in the Order Status Sheet. Ram Chat will have no additional information relative to shipping progress. Your...
Ram Chat does exactly what it is intended to do. That is report to you information about your order that is posted on the FCA order status sheet. Ram Chat cannot access any other information. Ram Chat has no power to change anything or influence anything. That is the reality of Ram Chat, and...
Ram Chat can only tell you what the FCA status sheet says. It is updated when ever there is a status change. This is the same for the dealer. The only time the dealer has better information is after the order is released for shipping. Then the dealer can access tracking information. Ram Chat...
I assume you are referring to the essential data being in the first page of the ram tracking thread. Having it there is exactly where it needs to be. Everyone can find it or can be referred to exactly where it is. They can look it over, explore the data and educate themselves on the process...
Both Ram Chat and your dealer get their information from only one source and that is the order status sheet that FCA publishes and that they can access. BigDodge posted a copy once on this thread. You can search for it.
Eighty and Triple B, This kind of information should be in the Data Bank so...
Just another meaningless thing they do to manage your anxiety and anticipation and to keep you from bothering the dealers. Estimated ship dates and estimated build dates are in the same category.
What we have established is that ship date and estimated build date are essentially meaningless and are put on the POC often by the dealer to manage the buyers anxiety, anticipation and to keep them from bothering the dealership. The only realities seem to be 1. D you have a valid order, 2. D1...
