I have had mine on for about 2500 miles. I have not noticed it quieting down at all. I too would like it a bit quieter on the low end. Nice when you get on it, and zero drone at highway speeds. I do notice it when it drops the cylinders to eco mode and generally lock that out with the manual...
I have now towed with it a couple of times. If you can get on a level run and have the truck fully shift out, it is not bad at all. Living in Northwest Lower Michigan, I find there are some spots where the truck downshifts a bit on hills and that is when you really notice it. If just the torque...
Will do UnLimited. Likely towing to the UP of Michigan in the next 10 days snowmobiling. Total trailer weight will be around 7K, but it is also like a parachute, so much resistance is involved. Just my seat of the pants belief from driving it around today is that towing, it will be pretty...
Just installed my system. I did it by myself in about 2 hours. An extra pair of hands would have been helpful but I used a jack to hold the muffle while I bolted it up and that worked fine. Went very smoothly and my tips lined up perfectly. Very happy with the overall quality and sound. You...
Over 5000 miles on my loaded RAM limited. Absolutely zero issues. Nicest driving/riding vehicle I have ever been in. Love it! Cat back Magna Flow going on next week.
Absolutely! Ex-2017 GMC Denali piece of garbage owner. This truck is sooooo much nicer in every way. Good by, so long to GM. The only thing I liked about the Denali was the 6.2 engine. But, the transmission was junk, truck vibrated horribly, cheap interior feel, etc. Ram is butter smooth, dives...
All the reports sound great. My order status just switched to "awaiting shipping" so hopefully it will be on its way soon. Looking forward to the install.
Ok, did not receive any feedback on the trailering question, but based on all of the positive reviews and input here, I went ahead and ordered it today from Hottexhaust. John there was very helpful. I hope it is not too loud!!
Has anyone tried towing a trailer yet with this system, say 7,000 lbs?I like what I am seeing and hearing so far but wonder how loud it will be under a decent trailer load...
Glad it worked out for you. You should be fine with the 2500. They are solid. Cant say the same for the 1500's. Chevy shake victim here. I hired an attorney and wasted a lot of time dealing with GMC's "expedited review process" which is latin for "slow walk". Never got GM to even admit there was...
Came over from a 2017 Denali. No comparison. GM is waaaay behind. Could not be happier to be out of that vehicle. GM guy fr over 30 years exclusively. Happy to be gone!
Boy am I happy I went with the Ram! If GM had not treated me so horribly with all of the troubles with my 2017 Denali, I likely would have blindly bought a new Denali without even driving the Ram and never would have known what I was missing. Thank you GM for your atrocious customer service!
Just finished my radar install and since I am picky, I ended up pulling a lot of panels and poking around to get the unit where I wanted it. My radar also has a remote switch, so that had to be mounted as well. Observations:
1. This was harder to do as compared to my GMC because the head liner...
Not minimizing anyones problems but coming from the "best" Gm makes (GMC Denali) and dealing with problem after problem for over a year, I could not be more pleased with my 2019 Limited. Head and shoulders above the 2017 Denali I had. Ultimately sued GM, ran up $2,500 in legal bills going...
I have the etorque and notice when getting on it fairly hard, it almost has a turbo like "kick" where it pulls hard right before it shifts gears. This may be a Hemi thing across the board (my first Hemi), but I did not notice this with the first non etorque Hemi I drove. Either way, the truck...
I promised to get back and update after a few more miles. I now have 600 miles and like the truck more each day. It has such an incredibly smooth drive train, it is just hard to believe it is that much better than my Denali. It actually feels stronger in acceleration than I originally thought...
