Well, if I had waited three years, I wouldn't have needed to upgrade to a Hemi 2500. Just for the heck of it, I built a Big Horn with everything I wanted including the tow package, air bags, ram boxes, utility package, bucket seats 3.92 rear end lockers and LSD and big gas tank.
I pull an 8500...
My 2015 Outdoorsman did it three times at 65 plus mph. Same thing, no codes. A friend of mine a FCA tech back in Indiana said he thought it would end up being there...before I traded it. They spent three days trying to figure it out then said it would be about two weeks till a scheduled...
Late back to the party, but the guy who fixes them at my dealership said it was the dissimilar metals of the manifold vs the block... The manifold would warp" being aluminum? and put pressure on the bolts so they would snap first and if you got to that quick you could grind? the manifold flat...
The society of automotive engineers has taken a lot of fun out of these discussions. The objective nature of the standards has removed all subjectivity and left it simply to math, gullibility associated with sales of both RV's and trucks and your pocketbook. I remember the day when I had to walk...
If you do NOT tow, live in a flat state where it never gets below 40 degrees, the 3.21's are perfect. I live in MT, had a 2013 3.55 and a 2015 3.92 and now a 2021 3.21. I tow a 6700 lb travel trailer...and did I mention I live in Montana... Oh, I see I did... I wish I had my 3.92 back. The 3.21...
Being from Indiana, I'd say Kentucky... Of course if you are from Missouri, you don't have a very high opinion of Hoosiers... AND I know why on that one. After the Civil War, the Indiana boys came home and were pretty much half animals at that point. The fathers bought them a wagon and supplies...
OK, NOW I know how to maximize gas mileage. Helium filled tires, live at 10,000 feet, only use summer gas 91 grade, never put anything in the truck, 3.21 gears, e-torque, road tires, and only go places where you can go both ways downhill with a tailwind.
I'm set now, thanks for the advice on...
It's thinner. Me too... I figure that thinness is worth maybe 23 mpg vs that thick humid midwest air... Of course that is not completely accurate as it is the lyometer reading.

(WAIT! Since I got the recall, they apparently now have a fix as mine said they were working on a fix and I would be informed. This looks like the new one and they have a software fix.)
You can go here and see what recalls...
Did you get your "recall" on your tow group that has no solution as of yet? Mine works and I'm afraid if I bring it up, they will shut it off or something.
If you gotta trade, that makes all the difference now days. I had toyed with trading in 2020 before all the hyper market stuff and was offered under 15K for my 2015 Outdoorsman with 60K on it. Here last June at the peak, of the hyper market, They offered me 22K (cash) with 70K miles on it AND a...
I think you and another poster kind of answered my question. You are both accurate in your statements, but I was just wondering if we were seeing the upward PRESSURE on pricing "breaking." I'm thinking we are but like you note, it's still a sellers market... I've seen it in RV's. I bought my...
