Thanks for the reply. Is this something that can be easily added or not worth the bother? I just bought a travel trailer and any assist with backing I'll take.
The big one I showed plugs into the back of the switch on the dash, no doubt about that. You don't show the back of the switch. My module is already installed with plugs under the dash. I'm just curious what the other plug is for.
Hi all,
I've got a 2021 1500 Limited which did not have a brake controller. With help from this group it I got it installed. I should have my bypass cable and OBD reader tomorrow. When I went to find the plug for the back of the controller I also found the circled plug taped up with it. Does...
I should be able to get into the OEM under $300 if I install myself. My friend will take care of the programming. I just wanted to be sure there was no advantage to going aftermarket.
I'm going to be installing a brake controller on my 2021 1500 Limited. Is there any functional advantage to going with the factory controller vs aftermarket?
Thanks for the recommendations. I just need to find someone to do the install. I have the tools and ability but the back doesn't seen to want to cooperate the last few years.
I’m looking to level my 2021 1500 Limited. I’ve read where some have said the 2” Daystar spacers with the Level Links makes it a little nose high. Is there any reason the spacers couldn’t be machined down a little to alleviate this?
Thanks for the input guys. I talked to an acquaintance today who happens to be a tech at a dealer and has a set of Toyo's on his new Bighorn which he's quite happy with. They were on my short list so after talking with him I went ahead and ordered a set of the Toyo Open Country LT285/55/20...
Hi guys,
I'll make this short, a few pages back I posted regarding my experience with Mark Dodge. Things didn't go the way I had expected. Aaron contacted me and the situation was discussed and resolved. Even though the situation with the truck I was interested in didn't change (wrecked), my...
I would but the lead time is too long. I just sold my 2019 Ram 3500 Diesel dually to a dealer and need to replace it. I don't necessarily need a truck right now but will in the next couple of months. I got what I paid for the 3500 so it won't kill me to pay a little more for a replacement. The...
Not mad, just disappointed. With all of the high praise I've read here I expected better. One email/text to a group asking what the status is on the xxxx truck probably would have done the trick. I had told him yesterday that I just wanted to know whether or not I should keep looking. It was...
I've bought more new cars than I can remember. That's not the right way to deal with a customer, at the least keep him informed. I shouldn't have had to ask multiple times. Someone knew the status of that truck and should have been asked.
My experience with Mark Dodge has been different than most others here. After reading all of the glowing recommendations on the forum I checked them out online and found the truck I wanted yesterday at a decent price and was ready to buy. I felt I got the run around. I was getting ready to fly...
I discovered it did not have an anti-slip diff. From the looking I've been doing on this forum sounds like this might not be the wisest thing to omit given I live in Michigan (winter). Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
