If you had regular tires it probably wouldn’t downshift as much. I have the regular factory 20s with the Bridgestones on my Ram and it only downshifts on the steepest hills. Are your tires in the the factory size or a different size?

The best restorer that I’ve used so far is Cerakote but you better make sure you clean it well before applying and definitely wear gloves. It leaves a hard baked shiny appearance that supposed to last for 200 washes.

Makes the most noticeable difference on a curvy road at higher speeds, cuts down on the rear sway of the truck immensely. The truck just feels more planted.
Check your tire pressure! Ram recommends like 60PSI for the front and 80PSI for the rear. You can lower those pressures down quite a bit unless you're towing and it will help the ride significantly. Personally I would drop 'em all the way down to just above where you get the low tire pressure...

I had a 2013 F150 with the Ecoboost 3.5 and it was a beast, can’t imagine the extra power since they upgraded the HP/TQ and transmission not to mention being so much lighter than the previous gen.
Just curious have you drove a new F150 yet? I’m just wondering if they ride any better since they basically have had the same suspension for the last 20 years and they always rode like a buckboard wagon in the past with those leaf springs in the rear.
