Android Auto - uConnect no longer connects

That turned out to be it. I was looking for Play Services under Play Store > Installed Apps instead of Settings > Apps. Once I found it, I cleared it's storage and was able to re-pair. Everything is working smoothly now.

Android Auto - uConnect no longer connects

The order of events is roughly this: 1. Got the truck in November 2018 and was immediately able to start using Android Auto with it and my OnePlus 5. There was one brief hiccup when plugging the phone into the truck would not trigger Android Auto. I resolved this by going into uConnect...

Really interesting GPS problem with apple car play

So, I found some confirmation on my theory: Basically what's supposed to happen is that when you're walking around with your phone, of course, it will use the phone's built-in location services (its own GPS antenna and perhaps some data from cellphone towers and whatever other secret sauce...

Really interesting GPS problem with apple car play

I have a similar but very sporadic issue and I have a theory on why it happens. Basically I believe, without evidence mind you, that the satellite receiver on the truck that's used for SiriusXM is also a GPS receiver and that both Carplay and Android Auto cause the phone to use that instead of...

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

I've eased way up on the throttle recently. I had been getting 13 - 14.5mpg and now I'm getting around 16 - 17, probably 70% city/town/rural driving. 89 octane. On the highway I get about 21mpg. Pretty pleased after being initially annoyed. The light foot makes a big difference.

    Running Boards

I have the same color rig as OP. Researched a while and settled on the Mopar wheel to wheel side steps, I think they're a chrome color, installed them myself to save $$. Good value, fit perfectly, work great, look great.

    Bakflip MX4 water tightness

Yeah mostly. I loosened the clamps and pushed back down on the rails, turns out one of them wasn't seated right. The tap screw thing was not an issue. I also added some of my own weather stripping around the tailgate gaps.

    eTorque worth it?

I have the eTorque and it's ok. I think it will have some impact on resale value. But most of us paid about $1500 extra for it, I calculated a while back it would take 65 years to break even in gas savings.

Going from, say, 15mpg average to 16.5mpg is a 10% improvement. Where I live, premium fuel is 23% more expensive. So from that perspective, the extra mpg's aren't worth the extra cost. It's also worth mentioning that some (but definitely not all) stations are selling "pure" gasoline as the...

    Nothing but a nightmare

Find an attorney in your area who is experienced with "lemon laws" -- you might qualify. Alternatively, selling it private party would likely get you much more of your money back than what a dealer would give you (they're looking to re-sell it for a profit, obviously). Clean it up nicely, take...

I'm also seeing around a 2mpg improvement after getting the TSBs, at least according to the computer.

    Bakflip MX4 water tightness

Hey everyone -- I know there's been some discussion in other threads about tonneau covers but I figured I would ask in a new thread. I have a Bakflip MX4 on my 2019 Ram 1500 (6'4 bed, no Rambox). I'm not expecting 100% water-tightness but if I can, I'd like to get it as close as possible. Today...

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

Interestingly enough, I drove this morning on the highway with cruise control on at about 50mph and I did seem to be getting 20-22mpg. A few hundred miles ago I took it on a road trip where I also used cruise control but at higher speeds (about 72mph) and I was getting about 16.5mpg. I'm...

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

I can tell you right now that my truck, which has 900 miles on it, would get about 15mpg in that scenario.

Well that is definitely not what I wanted to hear.

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

It seems, then, that the dealer is mandated by FCA to apply any outstanding RRTs as long as the vehicle is in their garage for service? My concern is that these RRTs have been out there for a little while now and I had to sign onto a 3rd party web forum (here) to learn about it. Shouldn't these...

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

I've got 900 miles on mine and I'm also extremely disappointed in the fuel economy. Going off the computer (haven't started hand-calculating yet), I'm seeing about 13.2mpg in the city and 16mpg on the highway. That's 33% and and 38% lower, respectively, than what's on the window sticker. On...
