You can go to the Uconnect website and put in your VIN number for your truck. It will then search and let you know if your system is up to date or if it needs an update. The 12 inch Uconnect does over the air updates automatically, so typically they are up to date.

Absolutely hate it and looks dangerous to be using

When starting, if you lightly push the brake pedal or quickly let it go after pushing the start button, you won't hear it. Only happens for me if I'm holding the brake pedal firmly

The kit is on backorder I guess, so will be waiting for a bit.

Well I didn't personally so it but had my 2019 for an oil change and tire rotation. The dealer snapped one off when torquing the tires. They said that "usually doesn't happen". Replaced it at no charge. Haven't had an issue since.

Sorry to say you will be waiting awhile. I purchased my 2019 ram in March 2019 with a 12 inch Uconnect and the dealership and FCA have all been spewing the same song and dance. They said it was October, then November and then December! Yet here we are....

Anyone have any luck on the issue around "dropped calls"? Where you hear people on the hands free with unconnect but people don't hear you. Happened to me 3x 2 days ago. I switched phones and same issue. @RamCares

I just checked Uconnect and after putting in my VIN number, it says my Uconnect system is up to date with no updates available

I did! It needs to reboot itself, which takes a few hours. Everything came back overnight.

Mine wouldn't show. I found that if you move the map around and/or zoom in or out, it will show shortly after.

It's now called Uconnect. It's a blue icon with the U in the middle.

There are sensors and an engine light code comes up if the wires are severed.

There is a TSB for some of the issues you are referring to, check out the TSB forum here. I too have some similar issues, the presets, dropped calls, Andriod auto issues, etc. Have went through all the same avenues. There is a bunch of forums already on here about this. FCA is stating an update...
