Just called Zeigler and was informed that the in-service date is when the truck rolled off the factory line. So if you buy an 8 year plan, then in effect it only extends it an additional 5 years. The first 3 year, 36K mile warranty covers the first 3 years of the 8 "year" plan. If you wait...
Question on the extended warranties, looking at the terms they seem to start at the original time of purchase. So if you buy an 8 year plan in effect that is only a 5 year plan after the first 3 year original plan expires. Or is it actually a total of 11 years, (3 original + 8 extended)...
I ordered mine in December and the dealer indicated full price was $70,345, discounts and rebates took it to $56,699, then taxes and fees brought the price out the door to be $61,162. I will also get the 0% for 72 months when I pick up the limited tomorrow.
What about a normal cap secured at the corners to the bed with lifting sides to allow the ramboxes to open? I'm also interested in a solution that does not involve mechanical lifting of the cap everytime.
