I can confirm that it’s happened to me several times! It wakes you up at 5:30 am on the way to work! Ouch!

I own a 2020 Laramie ETorque and drive 33 miles each way to work mix of city/highway. I use mds for a week and turn it off for a week with the gear position switch. I see absolutely no difference in mpg. Same goes for the auto start. I’ll use it for a week, shut it off for a week. No difference...

I’m getting 17.5 mpg at 25 degrees F outside, mix of city and highway 30 mile commute. My Ram has 8850 miles on it. That’s with start stop and mds shut off and not getting into the gas pedal hard. I saw 20 - 21 highway when it was warmer out this fall.
