Me too. The TSB allows 0.2 hours and I declined performing any diagnosis. Based on this forum discussion, I told them not necessary, just complete TSB and I’ll cover 0.5 hour max. That’s what it ended up being. Not too bad and it’s fixed now.
So I received the TSB update and new tires and the steering column noise is now gone. Making right turns into driveway and parking lots and no issue. Problem solved. Thanks team.
Normally it takes TSB search a while to answer when you can’t find a TSB, but today they responded shortly after I posted above. There is a REV B! And now they have removed the limitation of V6 engines, and this TSB does apply to any engine.
In talking with the dealer service manager today, he said since this TSB latest rev includes only V6 eTorque, they can’t perform the work on my vehicle, V8 Hemi eTorque. Interestingly, the original issue, was not engine specific. He emphasized that Chrysler is a real stickler on this, but he...
I’m glad to hear that. IvoryHemi posted a revised version of that TSB. See above thread, Rev A was issued a few months after the original you sent. I’ll get that module software updated Wednesday before I get the new tires. I’m glad to hear this fix is working for so many. I hate that sound.
Thank you very much. I’m having new tires installed in a few days and I’ll make sure they have this TSB and address this issue.
Did you have the same issue and did this resolve it?
I hear a low frequency groan or vibration when turning right into the driveway. It appears to be coming from either the left front suspension or the steering column. It’s hard to pinpoint precisely where the source is. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any ideas as to what it could be?
My 2020 Longhorn is doing the same thing, but only while turning right. Just wondering, did you get this fixed? I’m getting ready to bring it in for tires and would like to get this resolved, too.
@georgesrt2020 My issues have been resolved. After the failed first visit to the dealer, I was back and worked with the service manager. The tech found that the camera/glass mount did not have enough adjustment available and could not be pointed in the correct direction. Kind of of strange to...
Just got back from the dealer and this still doesn’t work. And they test drove it! When driving in the middle of the lane, indicators say I’m riding the right shoulder. Or sometimes the left line. Never did I receive ANY feedback to keep me on the road. If I straddle the double yellow, I get a...
It was definitely re-calibrated. I drove the truck while the technician monitored the progress until completed satisfactorily. It didn’t matter. I test drove it once it was complete and saw that lane sense was not working properly. I’ll discuss the differences in glass manufacturers with the...
After two failed attempts at replacing my windshield and having the lane sense system not working properly, at the third attempt, Safelite installed OEM glass, did the calibration and the system still doesn’t work. Now going to CDJR dealer next week; I’m counting on them. But I was wondering...
Well surprise surprise. The software update worked or maybe it was time of day lol. This isn’t the first time a software update fixed some obscure issue. All is good now. Thanks for the input and suggestion.
For no known reason, my 2020 Ram will not connect to my iPhone to play Bluetooth audio. It has always worked fine. Display shows my iPhone not connected when I select paired audio devices. Phone is connected and works fine. Audio from phone will not play and instead uconnect requests to pair an...
