I use a 3 ton long chassis Hein-Werner. Bought it about 5 years ago because I wanted a jack that could reach all the way to the rear differential on my F-450 motorhome and still be able to actually operate the jack plus it's made in the USA. At about 150 lbs, it's a beast and a bit pricey at...
12,000 lbs dry weight + passengers, gear, water, propane, fuel..... Overall the diesel will be a much nicer towing experience with engine RPM's staying much lower when towing. The gasser will be fantastic when tooling around town but once you hook up 14,000 lbs behind it, you'll know it. Pick...
Once a week I make a 360 mile round trip from Central Ca to So Cal via Interstate 5 which encompasses the Grapevine; 40 mile stretch entailing a 5 mile section of 6% grade and 35 miles of hills / valleys. Overall it's a 70 mph journey and I've been getting 20.1 - 20.3 mpg according to the...
I went through the same angst re; halogen v. LED and in the end I just couldn't justify the extra grand to upgrade to LED. I've never had a vehicle with LED so I really don't know what I'm missing I guess but the factory halogens work just fine in my opinion. I've never been driving and thought...
For what it's worth I think your mileage will improve as the odometer clicks along. I had mileage in the low 14's for about the first 1,500+/- miles. I've never reset the mileage thing and now at just about 3,000 miles on it my collective average is 20.3 per the computer.
Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3 is a great 4 season tire with very little road noise. The Michelin Defender LTX MS is a superb tire as well however it is unlikely to be of much use in the snow.
Everybody out there putting on lifts, tires, wheels, gun safes, ceramic tint, Katzskin etc... and I'm over here excited that I put in two tie down bolts hahaha.
I've had many trucks with all sorts of running boards / side steps / nerf bars / rock sliders etc... and for what it's worth nothing beats the AMP Research. Nice wide, level, full length platform for the Mrs and when they retract you won't even know they are there.
There's a 23 page thread on exactly what I believe you are referring to. In the search bar at top of page type 'Loud noise on startup'.
I have a '21 Hemi Bighorn and it does the same thing upon firing it up. Kind of makes a clanging, loud clicking, popping, thrashing noise for a few seconds...
Can't imagine Doge will ever really take off as the market cap is unlimited. At least with Bitcoin it's limited to 21 million coins with some 18.5 mil already "minted". Depending on where you buy in at, the downside of BC may be big but the potential upside is tremendous.
